i had hope in Alive when i heard the guitar rifs, and i do like the mellody. But arangement is annoying the hell out of me. I think if arangemens for Alive and Heaven were different and had more layers i would totally love them, cuz i like the melodies of those a lot.

AND OH MY FREAKING GOD AT SUPERNATURAL LOVE I CAN'T BREATHE :thud THAT CHORUS IS EVERYTHING! This album is just.. i can't right now, how did she just come out of nowhere with these jams? I feel like i already forgot about Uncontrolled lol and i love that album. She could seriously go international with this, the quality of the songs and her delivery is ridiculous! The only songs that need to grow on me are Poison and Let Me Let You Go, Poison is bad-ass but lacks a real hook for me, it's like a weaker Hot Girls (people are going to kill me for this, i know most of you hate it haha) LMLYG is really sweet but i prefer the first half of the song, it weakens as it goes on. |

I can't even deal with the mixture of straight ghetto dance, and just pure beauty...and with a piano ballad thrown in. Did she make this album just for me. Coincidence? I THINK NOT.
The songs are gorgeous. And they're so uplifting. Is it just because it's summertime, or IS EVERYTHING IN LIFE JUST PERFECT AND AMAZING. I don't even care about the english. It's all just so ~pretty~. There's just all these colorful lights and warmth going off in my head when I hear everything. There is stardust in my eyes for this album. ugh and some of the songs are so perfectly mellow. I think this might be my favorite album from her. Even if some of the songs...aren't the strongest...they're just special somehow. The mix of sounds and feelings with her delivery and presence. It's been perfected. She hit this **** out of the ballpark. La La La should have been used to promote this. Commercial opportunities galore with that song. Life is perfect. :cry |

ok so i am listening to it and i realize that i am enjoying it.... The arangements for most of the songs are really rich in layers which gets me. I guess if done right electro/dance can sound really really really good. And on this maybe just a couple of songs sound a bit cheap to me.
Absolutelly in love with: Rainbow ; La La La; Supernatural Love; Let Me Let You Go; Stardust In My Eyes Will probably listen ocasionally but not impressed: Alive; Heaven; Can You Feel This Love Would do without: Poison And can i say that i absolutelly adore her vocals? Like even more than i did till now?lol I guess Namie is going to be the only exception for me with all the computer generated sounds music. Way to go, girl! |

Listening to FEEL right now... Well, it's just my first impression, but it's so much better cured than Uncontrolled! Uncontrolled was half her old style and half an attempt at a new one, not always well done. FEEL is so much cohesive and incisive in the new direction than the her last work!
I still think she has not mastered everywhere this new sound she tried, but, God, there's impressive stuff in here! I'm enjoying it a lot, it's indeed perfect for summer. And I'm actually very surprised at how everything sounds so compact once put together. Really impressed despite myself for now. |

This album has to grow on me a bit more. A lot of the songs sound too "America's Billboard Top 40" for my taste. It's a nice change for Namie and Japan but, I will not be adding this album to my physical CD collection. This album is more cohesive than "Uncontrolled" I'll say that. :yes -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rainbow: Your standard current Western pop song. Poison: This song is a ratchet *** mess. La La La: Sounds like something Rihanna and other American mainstream acts have done before. Supernatural Love: Korea's K-pop idols just called. They want their song back. Let Me Let You Go: :no Stardust In My Eyes: Sounds very reminiscent of what certain bands like Motion City Soundtrack, Owl City, etc. have released in the past. Gonna make a quick summary of Namie's FEEL before I go flailing and rolling on the floor
1) Alive - such a great album opener! The way the beat just pulsate is crazy! 2) Rainbow - it's such a feel-good song! I can see why she named the album, "FEEL"! 3) Can You Feel This Love - it's really an annoying and repetitive song. It's like the happy version of Hot Girls >__> But it's not happy for me 4) Big Boys Cry - oh yeah, totally love this~ 5) Hands On Me - meh, this song hasn't be able to grow on me >_< But the dance is hot! 6) Heaven - MY JAM! With 500 plays so far~ 7) Poison - this song is freaking badass! The vocals doesn't bother me at all...It's like the naughty cousin of Violet Sauce! 8) La La La - I can imagine Kuu singing it better, but it's a nice song 9) Supernatural Love - I was expecting a lot out of this song. It sounds like it was for some Kpop girl group....It sounds like a good song for SNSD's Tiffany to annoy me with her rap 10) Let Me Let You Go - the tears! She sounds so raw! It should have been put last...doesn't really flow here~ 11) Contrail - My summer song! I love it! Naoymt never disappoint 12) Stardust In My Eyes - Really western, but it's amazing! All in all, Namie is the HBIC. Everyone can just hang up their weaves. |

but here are my thoughts 1)Alive - LOVE THIS! Play this in the car and gosh, it's just mindblowing. Would love more bass though haha. 2)Rainbow - This is definitely a feel-good song and there's some 8bit-ish game sounds that makes it so cute. I love her voice here. (Is there some japanese here?) 3)Can You Feel This Love - Didn't like this one LOL 4)Big Boys Cry - I did like this when it came out. Now it's alright. The music makes it really unique. 5)Hands On Me - This really makes me wanna move. Great track!! 6)Heaven - The opening sounds soooo 90s pop and retro. I love the electro though. 7)Poison - I think the chorus is so bada$$ HAHAHAH!! Is there Japanese here too? Yea! This is like a twisted cousin of Top Secret for me :P 8)La La La - I think this is alright lol. the music is nice but it's a bit too happy for me haha. 9)Supernatural Love - Whoa whats with the rap/talk section!! it's amazing and omg love the chorus!! Hm, I'm not impressed, this album isn't doing much to me.
After two repeats most of the songs sound pretty annoying. Though Alive is definitely one of the best songs she ever put out! Similar to Come, I'm a sucker for such songs! Favourite songs: Alive Hands On Me Contrail Nice songs: Let Me Let You Go Big Boys Cry La La La Bad songs: The rest, especially Heaven and Poison Just like about the half, I won't buy it. |

Also i havent listened to it in FULL yet. Don't want to. However, with everyone saying "KPOP Girl Group" sound from Supernatural Love, it's making me nervous. I HATE majority of KPOP, especially the girl/boy groups. Only group I do like is 2NE1. :( |
Overall, I'm impressed with the album. It's very consistent in most aspects.
Maybe some of the songs sound "generic" in the sense that they sound similar to what other international artists are doing, but I look at it and say "Namie can do it too, and maybe even better." I was most impressed by "Rainbow" and "Stardust In My Eyes" but I'm not disappointed at all by the other songs. |

Like, I got a confirmation on Tuesday that it shipped BUT when I tracked it, it said that the shipping process started on Saturday. I just want this album! erryone is praising it to Heaburn. |

I think this is way better than Uncontrolled. I still haven't decided about my favourites but there are a few songs that caught my attention. 3 words for it: Cohensive, energetic and a lot of english.

I love it so much. Supernatural Love is EVERYTHING. Alright, I'm sorry, but every song on this album could be a single and not only that but if they were released as singles in the American market, the US wouldn't know what amazingness hit them. Edit: I also love how Namie's manages to NAIL the world 'Stratosphere' which is a pretty hard word considering...you know....but 'heaven' hahaha. I will also say this: Namie hits notes in this album I've never heard her hit before, so it makes me happy/proud. |
After hearing for the whole album twice, I can say it's way more amazing than I was expecting when it was announced, but just like I felt it would be when a couple of songs had already been revealed. It starts very strong with Alive, but gets a bit messy on those happy tracks - Rainbow is okay it reminds me of Mario Kart (?) so in some tortuos way I like it, but CYFTL and BBC... urgh - to then fly high with Hands On Me and the following tracks.
My favorite tracks are Alive, Poison, Supernatural Love and Stardust In My Eyes. Then the other songs are all awesome, except for those I mentioned above... For sure it'll grow into one of my favorite albums from Namie, and easily one of the best 2013 albums :yes Awesome job, Namie. Snatch those wigs! |

Haven't hear any of the new song, waiting for my CD to come. I'm really happy to read all these good reviews. I feel like this album will be as good as PLAY (to me that is). I hope Namie's going to sing another English album, haha.

The production on the songs is pretty top-notch. All the ones in the album that didn't leak prior to today are way better than the promotional tracks with PVs. But, I don't really like Namie's voice for this style of music. She is really hit or miss with me, most of the time she sounds like she's in pain. Like someone is constantly pinching her skin in the recording studio.

Better than Play even, IMO, but I just love the dance songs so much that it's like pure Eargasm.
Supernatural Love is so FIERCE. No hating on Play, I just know that Play has more skippable songs on it for me than FEEL does at this moment. I'm having a hard time skipping any songs on FEEL other than like LMLYG and BBC. |
^It's definitely better than PLAY, while i adore that album it does have some filler. Not bad per say, but i find the songs on FEEL much more memorable.

I hope for her 12th album Namie lets Nao'ymt produce more songs, brings back T.Kura, Michico, Shinichi Osawa, and keeps Steven Lee. Steven's production for "Supernatural Love" and "Neonlight Lipstick", despite being auto-tuned atrocities to many people, is great. :D
I'm glad Namie decided to work with more international producers (to get it out of her system), but the songs seem to lack novelty because of it. But that's due to my over-saturation of Western music I guess. :P For some reason I find her Asian produced songs more innovative and timeless. :shrug The packaging for all three editions of the album is flawless. Especially those back covers. :love |

Okay, I'm on LMLYG and so far (listening to the whole album), it's really not bad as I expected it to be. I actually like the album quite a lot. Isn't this Namie's shortest album running time wise? It's only about 42 minutes long. Still, a pretty good album. And very upbeat at that. But I really like it. There's something about it that makes me like it even if it's very mainstream.

My favourites songs are the songs with music videos, the songs in the album aren't bad, but, in my opinion they're forgettable.
