She looks gorgeous, but I don't think it fits the song or its genre. I actually expected some 3D artwork or something like the "ayu trance" album cover, but I guess it's still good that we got an unreleased picture as a single cover.

The cover is okay albeit a little... reminiscent of every other cover since 2012. I don't mind the typography. It does look kind of like a prom invitation, but at least they didn't put some tacky blue glow behind it like they've ruined so many covers with before. (Ugh, MOON/blossom...) It's nice and clean and sophisticated. It matches the photo.

The tracklist is disappointing, especially since there's no PV. Two remixes? Is a dub mix even that different from the original version? (I'm not a remix expert, lol.) The other remix is from a virtual unknown, right?

It's better than nothing, but that doesn't say much. I wish they'd have gone all the way if they really wanted to release a recut single. More remixes, otherwise what's the point really?

XOXO on the other hand is ridiculous. $25 for an already released song, a PV that looks like it was shot on a $5 budget, and one new remix? w o w

I get that it's because of the new media format or whatever, but it's a novelty and just stupid really. Even putting aside the fact that the plug-in cube is so huge and no one would carry enough of those around to warrant not just putting the songs and video files on the phone itself. Doesn't it plug into the audio jack, too? So basically you can't even listen to it with headphones, i.e. while you're in public. That defeats the purpose of having it mobile in the first place.

Love the photo but i'm just wondering who will buy it? Many people got it for free during Showcase, song itself is not great...(in my opinion) and it's a recut single of an album that didn't sell well...

The album probably sold well enough for avex, if they agree to release Terminal as a re-cut single it's probably because they think they can gain some profit or an opportunity for something profitable.

I'm used to her having pretty covers for unrelated songs at this point

I'm a little disappointed in the lack of a PV, but hey, this cover is so great I can't complain. :P

Dub is basically the instrumental. It may have slight variations as far as flow goes, so the length may differ by a few seconds. But, generally it is the original mix minus the vocals.

And yeah this release is seriously one big question mark. What's the point? Photo is ok, but seriously NOT reflective of the feeling and aura behind Terminal. Does anyone over at avex know how to create a fucking CONCEPT? Ugh. Creating concepts and expanding upon them is what excites me, so when I see potential and neglect, it pisses me off.

guys, if you keep in mind how the western artists do this stuff, they don't have the DVD versions either. But MVs are usually still made to promote the single, so. MAYBE.....

i still see no point in this, the only thing that's new here is the photo of the cover as a photo, the "theme" or the lack of it is what she's been giving us or quite a while now too, so pretty much NOTHING new there. I can't care less for the remixes too. I can guarantee you they won't even bother touching the original track to make it different from album version.

A single with the worst song of all her discography with only two remixes of the remix song...Well, even if the cover is nice, I won't buy it. It's the first time of my collector's life and it's the first time since my first order that I won't buy a new Ayu's cd.

ok i was hoping for a 10-track long remixed tracklist and at least a live promotional video, now it's so clear and it makes me sad that this release is a just a way to get more money from her fans, i'd rather had the showcase blu-ray instead...

Bold & Delicious is the worst song in her discography. Terminal isn't even remotely close. At least with Terminal you can get down in a club or rock out. Even if I liked B&D, it's too embarrassing for me to play out loud while driving in a car or in my own room next to my roommates.

What you said is just a matter of taste. I personnally love B&D. Each time I listen to it I clap my hands, move my body and sing with the choir while the arrangement of Terminal gives me almost a headache.
But as I said, people's tastes are differents. Of course we can talk about it but debating during one hour would be ridiculous. It's the kind of talks that go round and round in circles

I hope it gets pushed to US clubs because it would definitely hit the top of the Dance/Club Play Charts. The original version alone is perfect for clubs.

Haha, I will admit my reaction when this was confirmed was "well who would've thought!" Not mad, just honest-to-God surprised! What I am mad about is their lack of vision and concept of marketing. There is no passion for hammering out a concept. It drives me mad because to me the "vision" and pushing that "vision" through in all promotional aspects and products is the fun part! One day I'll have a career in strategic communication and jump start the "wow" factor back into her career, lol. Ayu, let's go to lunch and brainstorm.

I feel you. ^ I love the cover for Terminal a hell of a lot, but it doesn't fit the song at all. It looks like a scrapped idea for Sunrise/sunset. And then we're not even really given a lot on the single to make you want to buy it. A dub/instrumental, and a remix which could end up sucking total ass. The release date got pushed back twice, and originally the information on the facebook page said it will have a pv and now people are saying it wont. It's a messy release, but whether I buy it or not, I'm just glad this song is getting some justice.

I STRONGLY ADVISE FANS NOT TO PURCHASE THE XOXO PLUG AIR.

I took a look at Plug Air's website, and it's apparently just a device that lets you stream digital content to your phone. Basically, the songs and videos themselves aren't even included in the device; every time you access them, you stream them from Plug Air's cloud. You also need their app, which is only available for iPhones and Android, to make any use of it.

But, according to Ayu's official website, this content will only be available until March 31, 2015. So, basically, you're paying $25 to stream one song, one remix, and two-three videos for six months. After that, it's a paperweight.

Feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken.

This cover should have been used on a summer single. It does not fit Terminal at all.

Yes I think that is correct and I think avex uses ayu fans as a test audience for this thing. On her website it says that she is the first female artist to release stuff with this Plug Air (OMG wow amazing X)). But you get a ayu sticker yay! ;D With the single you will at least get a B2 poster.

Imo Terminal is among the best tracks on the album. The lyrics are simple, but nice and the beat is just amazing.

It's miles better than XOXO which drags on and can be fairly annoying, way better than Angel which barely has any content besides her yelling I wanna be an angel wowowowowo for you...

It's nice to hear a studio version of the dub mix without the talking in it from the radio show. I wonder if it's the version on the cd. Cause in the downloads section it's labeled as "Radio Edit" but on cdjapan it's just labeled as "Dub Mix". I want to just assume that the radio edit is just the short version of the dub mix, but then again for Naturally the "wippenberg remix" and the "wippenberg radio edit" are the same thing.
