This album and Ai's are gonna beast this summer. All other's can suck it!

I really love the covers and packaging. It's a great look. I haven't really been able to get into Namie's music in a while since the styles she uses lately usually are very difficult to impress me with and they're just okay. But the genre descriptions still sound interesting and those singles won't be on there. I'll give this a try when it happens. Between this and Ai's new album, my interest may be revived in two of my older favorites. Just quite the wait *sigh*

Ha that's what I just said! Ai was gone so long, and I never fully loved all the tracks on her albums. And LOVE FANTASTIC was all wrong. But her new image looks great and the tracks sound fun and cohesive, which is a huge plus. Uncontrolled to me was okay, but the image and singles didn't really mesh: it felt like an afterthought. ALIVE was more cohesive, but the music genres were a litte too American top 40 and generic for me to fully love (and then you had silly tracks like Can you feel this love). But listening to the little Photogenic preview, seeing the covers and tracklist being released together, and having all new music promised in a throwback style- this is Jpop to me. I was missing the Japaneseness of her music from P<F back, and the cohesiveness of style and tone. I also like the underscore in the album title which makes me think of P<F.

Dying to pre-order but both my debit and credit cards expire before June! I've already had to put A One on the credit card as it is! Hoping I can pre-order by the end of April.

Namie also is not listed under Avex management with Koda Kumi, Ayumi Hamasaki, etc. (And the website was recently updated, too.)

I guess she’s completely independent now with Avex’s blessing!

We don't have any info regarding general sale for the concert yet. The balloting period for fanclub members is from April 11th until May 11th.

Does that mean that if I sign up to the fan club between those dates, I'll get the chance to access a pre-sale? And they'll release the details of that pre-sale at another date?

It is also available in english. You can make an account (and read the rules). You can buy the tickets with a credit card and they will send you the e-tickets to your phone. Fan space tickets are all lottery tickets so it is not sure you will get them. I think it is the same with the general tickets. On the date of the concert you need your phone so you can scan your e-ticket at the entrance.

I just can't at Namie slaying everyone in the game so effortlesly. The way she has changed her style and keeps doing it just amazes me. The thing I like about Namie is that, unlike with Ayu, with her I never know if her next album is gonna be her best one. I know that no matter how good her next album is, it will never top Duty or (miss) understood. I must also add that this is partly because most of Ayu's first albums are infinitely superior to Namie's albums. But I would like Ayu to experiment a little bit too. I love Last minute for example, but in reality its Memorial Adress's uglier sister. She still has the ability to pull touching ballads or rock songs, but she always follows the same pattern she created years ago. Namie, on the other hand, keeps changing and evolving. NO FUTURE is a song that 1998 Ayu could have released, but 1990s Namie woud have NEVER released songs like Ballerina. Sorry for the essay haha, I was just thinking about it while I saw the news.

I'm excited for this, but not to the degree that everyone else in here is! Someone help me!!! I LIKE TO BE EXCITED TOO! lol. It just feels like Namie's voice is so emotionless in every song and it gives them a dead feeling! She basically blends in with the machinery of the tracks to me. I need to learn to get passed this or hear someone else's explanation of why I should not feel this way because dang it I want to feel pumped about his too :P

I'm pretty excited + I'm getting the CD+blu-ray. And I'm also glad my 3 queens releases an album this year, and unlike others, I enjoy them all :love (will probably enjoy namie's too unless she goes AKB48 with the rest of the tracks).

Well according to attendants there is a date where they post that they spotted her. 2 years ago she was spotted and had to leave in the middle, but last year she was spotted again (with nothing special to add). It's like this for several years, there was also a tour but I can't recall which year it was.
There was also a CDL when kuu and misono were spotted together.

Ayu goes to Namie's tours too tho, lol. And Gackt's been spotted at Ayu's concerts. It seems like one big circle jerk :P
