Which makes the whole expecting-a-woman-to-have-a-family-because-she's-a-woman even creepier. Saying "can't wait for her to have a family" is pretty straightforwardly assuming that SHE WILL, period, regardless what she herself feels about it. Implying that there's no other choice for her, that the job of a woman is that alone, and it's creepy and personal, WHEN she even has mentioned not planning on having kids. And ya'll keep on discussing about this as if to stir up this into a drama once again, like, give it a rest already. Pretty please. We've told you why, you refuse to listen. Women get constantly pressured into having kids and families and told they're selfish if they choose not to or/and pursue career over family, and this is one way that keeps this crappy culture alive. I don't think this is at all too difficult thing to grasp, but I'm guesing you just don't care.

I'm so glad she gets to relax before the CDL. I was afraid she'd run straight to the recording studio to get some kind of winter single done.

Eventhough I do like my Ayu material for Christmas, I tend to remember songs and moments together, and overplaying Winter Diary and Many classic moments last Christmas felt amazing!

Looking at the old thread last year, she started around the first week of December back then as well for CDL with all day/all night rehearsals basically up till she went to Taiwan for the Winter diary shoot in mid-December., then setup in Yoyogi started around Christmas Eve. I wonder if they'll do something special for the replacement show in a few days for TA tour~

I met a lot of Japanese who loves curly hair and do perm to have their hair curly. When I was in Japan, a lot os people asked me if my hair was permed lol Cuz it's very curly.

I love making my hair curly in special occations. I get the exactly same looking curls when I've had my hair in pig tails for a night, so my guess is that Ayu might have pig tail curls! XD

I perm it straight because I really hate the way curly hair looks on me, and I have really long hair right now (Jared leto/Jesus christ's inspired look lol)... considering cutting it out, is such a hassle when the roots grow curly and the rest is perfectly straight :laugh

Namie isn't really a fair comparison though, as she's 25% Italian (her mother was 50/50), if I recall correctly.

I guess she can walk freely for a while now. She usually tooks the subway and shinkansen to go to other cities and to her venues. But I'm surprised that no one have a picture with her in the streets of Tokyo. Is it because people don't care/recognize about her or because Japanese are too polite and care about private life that they don't feel the need to approach a celebrity?

I think it's a combination of things. Her popularity is definitely lower, and people aren't looking for her per se. Some people may be nice enough to ignore her if they notice her. But she's always wearing sunglasses and hats and such, and it would be quite easy to miss her in the crowd. There are TONS of people walking around Tokyo, you just start blocking it out a bit, honestly.

And she's probably not just walking around care-free. I'm sure she's going from point A to point B, from a car to a store, for example. Then snapping a quick picture in between. And likely very early morning or less traveled hours.

I thought that was referring to the 109 / photo book scandal. When she released one of her vivi collaborations or something, she made an unscheduled appearance at Shibuya 109 to promote it. This caused a huge commotion, impacted traffic, etc.

Honestly, I'm not surprised no one hassles her on the streets these days. If she's just walking around, not announcing herself I think she'd blend into the crowd. Especially in a big city. I live in the same city as one of my favourite actresses and if she walked by me I'd never know. You just block it out.
