HYDE's latest single to be used in drama 'Hare-kon.'
HYDE's latest single "FINAL PIECE" will be used as the theme song for Shimazaki Haruka's starring drama 'Hare-kon.' that's set to premiere in January. 'Hare-kon.' is based on a manga by NON which was serialised in 'Young Magazine' from 2014 to 2019. It's set in a fictitious town where polygamy has been allowed to combat a declining birthrate. Shimazaki will play Maezono Koharu, a young woman who moves back to this town and meets Date Ryunosuke (Inaba Yu), who offers to pay off her family's debt if she marries him as his third wife. His other wives Yuzu and Madoka will be played by Yanagi Yurina and Asakawa Nana respectively. "FINAL PIECE" is HYDE's first wedding song that was released as a single in November. He received this tie-up because he is a fan of the original series. "It's a manga I read many times for the first time in a few years, so I felt happy when I received the offer. I was looking at Tetsuya's Insta following the Like~An~Angel live and it's a shame he's getting so many negative comments. I think it's great he's still able to perform L'Arc's music if the other members aren't free or fancying it. Seems like Hyde has a new single coming soon as well which from the cover I assume is a rock song. I wonder when we will hear more of the Roentgen 2 project assuming it does still exist? |
