I wish Rainbow, and It was had been included on her best album haha.. But I guess ' It was ' really isn't as popular as many of her other songs. Rainbow is also one of my other favourite Ayumi songs though, too bad it wasn't included.

Other than that most of my favourite Ayumi Hamasaki songs are on there haha, so I'm damned happy. Carols, Is this LOVE, Step you, Because of you, Ourselves, My name is Women, Inspire, Game.. I actually think I love every single song they decided to add on to this best album BESIDES Humming 7/4, so boring x-x.

I think many of the Secret songs wouldn't have made it anyway.

I think why Moments and ourselves are in the WHITE version is to strike a balance between those loud songs like evolution, UNITE!, STEP you, INSPIRE and fairyland. :P

For the umpteen millionth time, there isn't a snowball's chance in hell that that would have been on there. A BEST 2 goes from evolution to Bold & Delicious/Pride. The end. Period. No more. "rainy day" is on (m)u, so it doesn't fall in the right time frame.

I think she should have done a 2CD+PV DVD combo and released The Best Of CDL as a seperate DVD boxset with the behind the scenes stuff as the second disc.

i hate that "a song is born" is on the compilation, it was on " my story classical" and that was JUST enough for me, its not even one of my favourites...and i dont even think is THAT good for being in A BEST....and its like wasting the "space" for some other song that didnt got a place...and maybe deserved it more...

Wow...I find it the complete opposite. Tetsuya Komuro's composition and her own lyrics...one of the best songs up her sleeve.

I don't really enjoy the change. (well, it wasn't a change since this is the official tracklisting) but I don't really like the song. But obviously Ayu wanted it on there for a reason, so who am I to complain?

A BEST 2 -BLACK- is a compilation of Ayu's "painful" songs selected from the era between "evolution" and "Bold&Delicious." It also includes a new song and it's PV along with a DVD compiling a documentary of the Best of CDL06-07.

A BEST 2 -WHITE- is a compilation of her "brighter/happier/enthusiastic" songs between the same time frame. It has no "new songs," but details are unknown if anything will be redone. This +2DVD version has the concert of Best of CDL06-07.

I've already posted my idea on another Ayu forum, which turned to an all-forum VS me about that idea, but well, not surprising in fact, Ayu-fans have always been acting strange like that [Specially after the BEST~second session of Kuu-chan and YES there is a link between both of them xDDDDD]

Ayufans are really strange... People always pray that their artist change some little thing, new songs style or anything else, but with us who have the chance to listen to every style [Pop, Pop-Rock, Ballads, Gospel...], everybody wants her to come back to I am... 2001's era...

Ayu is an A-rtist. I was thinking precisely about this the other night. She may not be the best dancer, nor the best singer... but she manages so well to lead people in the marketing industry and in the music entertainment. I do not agree with all things Ayu does, but she's a independent being that has her problems, as full humanity has.

But, as we live with a whole HUMANITY, there may be other artists, dancers, singers, actors... and so on. So why don't we enjoy that DIVERSITY??!!

I want to have a funny afternoon, let's pick up Cutie Honey, I feel I love humanity or I want o merge with nature, let's go for KOKIA, there's certain person... I listen Gackt..

And sometimes one group will be in the #1 because they deserve to be on that place, because they have created a BOOM, and the next week we'll have another #1... all good artists deserve to be on top chart positions..

It's surreal to think that we must buy Ayu CD's just to leave her in the #1 - as Ayu says, WE ARE FREE TO DO ANYTHING WE WANT... and certain messages in this thread are quite oppossite to that sentence. So if you consider yourself a true Ayu fan, take a second to think about what you're doing, and what's the real message of Ayu. This is the important thing, the real message of Hamasaki Ayumi seems that do not reach certain fans. And the message is quite clear in Secret album lyrics. The secret will be always True Ayu Mind, because that's a right she has, she can keep her true own feelins for herself and her idiosyncrasy.

And, what the h***, we're not rich! And people is free to buy other Artist's albums too!

And A BEST II is a compilation that is used , as Delirium-0 said here, to promote the artist to other people that do not know Ayu. We know her ALREADY; we may think it's a good one or a bad one, but we are totally free to buy it or not. Of course I would like it would contain certain new material. But as I am not obligued to buy, I will enjoy my Secret copy because it was an album that was able to got my true attention for Ayumi, for second time, in my story related with J-POP. And I wil enjoy LOVEppears, A BEST, A BALLADS and so on...

Both tracklists are pretty good. Quite varied and quite balanced. I can't believe that "alterna" isn't in any of the tracklists! But anyway... I'm not dissapointed. I guess the new song is a ballad!

Personally I could see GAME and is this LOVE? kicked out of there, GAME isn't as good as About You (to me), and is this LOVE? is quite similar in style to BoY, but I think BoY fits the "BLACK" theme better.

That's about it. They have PVs. That's why they were chosen. Which is why you probably won't ever see random album tracks in best compilations. And it's not like, as people have said earlier, her best songs. They'll save those for the end of her career, whenever that may be then they'll release a crazy frenzy of random previously unavailable lives [Limited TeamAyu Live + secret lives] and fan-selected-tracklist CDs. It'll be DAI all over again, but with tons more stuff. That also makes me believe that they're gonna do an "A BOX" with all her stuff when she decides to call it quits..

I also think that they switched Daybreak out because of this fact, and they wanted to put the original mix, but the PV was created with the -H/\L's Mix-. And Daybreak is a no.2 [grrr, it broke the streak!] album recut so whatever to that.

I glad those 4 songs are on the album :D I like them all. truehappiness u made a good point about daybreak. I forgot the pv version was not the original version of the song. I wish it was :(

I also dont think ayu fans are the only ones that complain about every little thing the artist releases. Others do it too...and I agree if you dont like the tracklist or what not, then dont buy it. sometimes i wonder why they dun put the single version onto the BEST album. For example, the Fly high in A BEST is the original version, not HAL's MIX 2000. I was hoping for the remix version when A BEST came out, but it turned out to be the album one (so I was a bit disappointed). But oh well if she's saving best songs for her last BEST album, I'm sure lots of good songs will be on there :D
