im wondering if i should be buying the cd+dvd versions of her singles instead of the cd only versions.

more info is out about the new single: it'll be a four-track MAXI single, with tracks individually produced by Touko Furuuchi, SOFFet and ACO.

Touko has previously written "VERANDA no hana" and "HOMETOWN" for Samii. SOFFet is a hop-hop duo, and ACO is sort of electro-ish. the single should be interesting.

it's not unheard of (clearly) for some artists to have whacks of single stuff on their albums....and actually...sammi had seven single songs on her first album...so i guess itd be about the same then.

hm....well, in that case i hope that theyre promoted along the lines of kuus four a-sides, where each song gets some good exposure, but only one makes it to the album.

yeah, I hope she gets to perform a good chunk of these songs, and avex gives her some good, heavy promotion like they were doing with her first two singles. it seems like after "hyaku renka" and then "yukiboshi / soshite..." peaked around no. 20 and only sold around 10k total, they almost gave up on her. she barely did any promotion for the album+"issho ni," and I don't recall her doing much for "arigatou," either.

I want Samii to do well, but I wouldn't mind her staying on the D-list if the music was at least good. and "arigatou" just wasn't.

What's with the "probably a lesbian" tag? I admit I did the other three as a joke because they linked. But that other tag is a bit inappropriate. :/
