I really don't wanna go this route with you, Peeeeeggggger! So, I gonna be as nice as possible about this: EXILE are very annoooooying now. I don't have a problem with them but the freakin' BEST that's pumping out of their ass has gone way OVERBOARD. It's like If you look up the word BEST in the dictionary, EXILE would be the definition.

As for the Hikki situation, Hikki's #1 2 weeks in a row had already been broken with Distance vs A BEST had begun (No thanks to ayu....:grumpy...j/k...:innocent). That's okay though. Hikki scored #1 5 weeks in a row with SINGLE COLLECTION and #1 6 weeks (non-consecutive) for First Love. I might be sounding biased or w/e but I think Hikki has the most weeks at #1 for a female artist. So, there's really no need for me be to greedy or a "ho", ho! I would rather want a "studio" album to be #1 then a freakin' overrated ass BEST album from the "Kings" of the BEST releasing. The whole concept of that BEST is ridiculous and you know it, ho!

ayaka may have a strong voice, but her non-ballad songs are pretty bland to me (nothing I could ever listen to on repeat). Utada has the whole musician/artist package thing going on, so it seems ridiculous to compare the two. As long as Utada is around, there doesn't seem to be a point calling other artists "the new Utada Hikaru."

I'm still surprised at how well Shibasaki Kou is selling. she sort of flew under the radar, I've heard of her but none of her singles or past albums have really caught my attention.

EXILE's three new best albums is not a new gimmick. they did it last time too in 2005, most people will get the most extensive best out of the three. EXILE's "PERFECT BEST" 2CD+DVD is the best selling avex album of 2005, clearly above Kuu's BEST ~first things~ and Ayu's MY STORY.

EXILE ENTERTAINMET BEST or whatever it's called will most likely be the best selling album of 2008 out of all avex artists, and probably by a mile too since Kuu and Ayu haven't really performed exceptionally well in sales this year whereas exiles sales seem to be on the rise ... :shrug

I think their 3 best album release back in 2005 is kind of different since "PERFECT BEST" was pretty much the other 2 combined into 1. This year, they're releasing 3 difference best albums. I don't think the best selling avex album won't be any of the 3 best albums from EXILE, it will probably be their studio album, EXILE LOVE.

Fangirls aren't the only people buying EXILE's stuff because if only fangirls were buying their stuff, there wouldn't be such a huge difference between JE's album sales and EXILE's. EXILE probably has a wide and diverse fanbase in Japan like Kobukuro and Mr. Children.

I don't know where people are getting this idea that EXILE's fanbase is mostly fangirls. I think they have a lot of casual fans, and a lot of guys like them. Just cuz they're a singing group full of guys doesn't make them automatically just like the Johnny's boys, although they're not really my cup of tea :laugh
