Hajimari no Uta is the first album I listen to from them and I really love it. My favorite tracks are Hajimari no Uta, Mahiru no Tsuki and Tenohira no Oto <3

I advice you to listen to their life album or their Sakura Saku Machi Monogatari one. For those albums are so good.

I'm hoping for a more upbeat song soon. I was never really a fan of their ballads but I really liked Blue Bird, Hotaru no Hikari and Joyful.

Yeah, don't know why about that - it seems that when a new single releases, ikimono-gakari would announce during that time that they would introduce another upcoming release, whether it's a single or album! Last time, when "Nostalgia" came out, they would also announce they would be releasing this "Arigatou" single - could mean another announcement for another single around or by the time "Arigatou" is released...

I'm not sure, but they're never really one for high first week sales. Look at YELL/Joyful, it sold the same amount in its first week as all their other singles, but it ended up selling a LOT more XD. Still, 38.000 generally isn't enough for a first week, and AAA has been selling more and more lately ...

And if you're wondering about the Romaji of the title, it's called "Kimi ga Iru", which is used for the drama "Hotaru no Hikari" in its second season; did you know that the title was the same as ikimono-gakari's 14th single released last year?

And, yeah, it's going to be once again at a cheap 555 yen.

Anyways, with people complaining about the bad cover, I think there's much more than that. Another "one-track-and-an-instrumental" single here, and some people are not going to be really happy about this single. Unless someone actually likes the song that they can hear...

Unfortunately, our timing predictions is not right again - it's another over-five-minute song...why is ikimono-gakari going much on the long-distance path like Ayu or Kobukuro? Ugh...

I don't know why about this, but their last five singles (going back to YELL/Joyful back on September of last year, just the YELL part - Joyful was not even three and a half minutes long!) the lead songs have been over five and a half minutes long - isn't that too long, especially for a summer single?

Okay, so three four anomalies:

• Bad cover
• Only one song, including the instrumental
• Too long for a summer single - some 5:40 long?
• Last five singles - including this single - has the lead song (or the only song, as the last and this single has been) that is over five-and-a-half-minutes long (Hotaru no Hikari, last summer single from last year, was less than four and a half minutes long; see the YELL/JOYFUL note above)

At least it's still upbeat, but it's too long for such a song that is being released out in the summer, like Ayu's MOON - that's 5:47 already; I think ikimono-gakari just reached that much far, which is a bit too far compared to her other summer singles, which are less than four and a half minutes long...

Bigtop, not trying to sound like I have anything against you, but you do some whacky research and you make a big deal out of everything!

Besides, those are hardly anomalies. They are no strangers to crappy covers and honestly, J-Pop has some of the longest singles I have ever heared. In a country where the whole idea of "radio edit" doesn't even exist I don't think 5:30 is THAT weird. Also, one song isn't that weird, especially not considering it's only 500 yen. It seems to be the latest trend.

ikimonogakari has never had impressive first day or first week sales. Even their best sellers have relatively weak first weeks. Take Arigatou. It ended up selling more than twice its first week.

Besides, aside from Blue Bird, Yell/Joyful and Arigatou none of their singles have had amazing sales It's generally 40~50k. This seems to be something like that.

And when it is in competition with Johnny's boys, well they're not up to it for #1...
