yeah the album sales this week are so sucky & so close for that matter @_@ , I really thought that she might nail it on the 1st day but she trailed behind AAA by a mere 50 copies

I don't know but it's prob might drop by 1/2 , I wouldn't be surprised since it's notoriously known that sales can drop very fast within the next few days & then pick up over the weekend as they're going to be on MS the next 2 weeks :D

White X'mas was a limited release be it for CD or CD + DVD so it's not fair to judge against ONE DROP to a certain extent & somemore there's no B-sides in White X'mas which probably hurt sales

While I'm happy that KT & Aoyama are still #1 , it's a bit unfortunate to see that ONE DROP might not be able to cross 300K in the 1st week now :(

BACK-ON's flyaway single is still doing ok.

It reached a peak of #4 on the daily chart. That's the highest any BACK-ON single has reached on the daily chart. :)

1st of all I NEVER said that I buy multiple copies of the same single for every single of Johnny's . It depends on the contents of the single & other exceptions pertaining to the case

it's not rocket science that's hard to figure out if you do your homework on this

fangirls are generally poor & they rather buy singles rather than albums of Johnny's as to them their 1000 Yen's our S$10 unlike an album where it's 3-4x times more expensive

somemore you can afford to have multiple versions of a single (eg. Kanjani8's Kanfuu Fighting - 8 different editions & KAT-TUN's Real Face - 7 different versions) , unlike an album innit ?

I forgot to add that Johnny's don't tend to put PVs into the CD + DVD of their albums which further gives fangirls extra incentives to buy the CD + DVD of singles which're deemed limited editions in Johnny's context

J-One/JStorm , Johnny's Entertainment , Imperial Records , Victor Entertainment's way of doing business is different from the rest of the record labels in Japan

they prohibit images for all the products to be displayed on online sites & the same thing probably goes for PVs at all

I noticed on the JE official sites of their artists, the site is so plain-looking, and doesn't have that many pics of their artists/groups.

I guess it is related to the fact about the image prohibiting.

Well you have to admit that JE has great marketing skills.
Whatever's on their singles do not mean that they will be stored in their albums.
And they have so many versions, with 1 or 2 different songs, not remixes.

I already said a few posts back in that Oricon counts sales during a fixed period from last year Dec til this year Dec

So from Dec '08 onwards til now , EXILE BALLAD BEST has sold 769,357 even though by right its totally tally's 1,713,258 now

Er I hope you understand what I mean ?

that's because This Is The One was released on Sat in Japan which's not a normal release date when comes to new releases in Japan since it's usually Wed

maybe sales will pick up when Wed comes by ? although ya the sales are quite :dead2
