I LOVE kingyo hanabi too! And Planetarium is quite nice too.

Other awesome ballads are Ai, Daisuki Da yo, Kumuriuta, Pocket and Kurage Nagareboshi!

And you might want to try Sensu, Kuroge Wagyuu Joshio Tanyaki 735 Yen and Renai Shashin :P

And dun forget Amaenbo.

Natsu Sora and Shabondama too. Really, try all her ballads, that's her one of her strongest points.

yes Sakuranbo's her biggest selling single to date & it's often considered as her breakthough hit

From Sakuranbo onwards , every single that she has released has hit the top 10

I didn't like it at 1st . The song that really changed my opinion towards her was the ever awesome Planetarium

I still consider that as her best single to date & it helped that it was an insert song for Hana Yori Dango 1 too 8D

As "LOVE LETTER" can be considered her most mature album, you should prepare yourself for some crazy stuff. lol Like "PONPON". But she has a quite wide range of songs, so even if you won't like the crazy ones she has enough other songs that you probably will come to like. ^^

The original version had a more tender vocal styling and that note at the end was pretty. The Haru version was boring and Ai's voice was strange in it...no end note either D:

Just what I was thinking. xD Because it wasn't stated to be a best with ballads, but a lovesong best. "Sakuranbo" is also a lovesong, so I thought they might include also upbeat tracks. Actually seeing it on the tracklist is a little funny. I thought they might also include LOVE songs, because that would fit the title. ^^;

I like that they included B-sides and also new recordings. I'd say they will be rearranged, because new vocals aren't really needed. They carry of quite much from "LOVE LETTER". First the "BYE BYE" re-cut, now "OnexTime" PV. Perhaps in the hope this will make "LOVE LETTER" sell more. I wonder how attractive this release will be for the casual listener. Specially without the inclusion of some of her hits, like "Kingyo Hanabi" and "PLANETARIUM".

It's weird to release a best of now when there's probably hardly any news on Ai anywhere. "BYE BYE" was released in February, right? It might have been better to release a single before-hand, whether it would make it on the best or not. But maybe perfomances of the new song are planned. Otherwise this new album might not do too well. By the way, how much did "Ai am BEST" sell?

This album is gonna flop and there's no need to wonder why... It's just another boring compilation including her biggest hit (Sakuranbo) and lots of random songs that nobody, apart from the most faithful, fans know.
