It should outsell stay with me no matter what! Not like I don't like swm, 'cause I LOVE it, but 3 A-side need to outsell 1 A-side single. I wonder if 3S will outsell TABOO.

I feel like Japan doesn't give a crap about singles anymore...unless they're from like Mr. Children or EXILE or something.

3 SPLASH hasn't been doing that great digitally either. It's just that Japan does not like this single...and I can see why :shrug

Maybe Japan should switch to digital singles instead of physical ones. It just seems like it would be a good option since more people are just buying from online shops now :shrug

But then again, that might make it difficult for us leechers :P

I don't think that will ever happen. I'm pretty sure record companies make more money by selling physical copies and we all know how greedy record labels are :irked They should at least lower the price a bit.

or maybe like NEXT LEVEL USB, i think this form of sale is that all Japanese people want these days.

anyway, sales aren't important, 3 SPLASH is a perfect single and i'm satisfied with this.. :heart

i don't know if this was mentioned, but the 3 SPLASH covers were shot by Kazuyoshi Shimomura, which explains why they look the way they do.

Leslie Kee shot the Black Cherry covers. he's my favorite photographer kuu's worked with. he shot MAROC, BEST ~second session~ and some other covers, as well as some of her best magazine photoshoots.

I think kuu's open mouth is sexy sometimes...and ayu's isn't always horrible either...

my friend and I determined that, it's a sex face...and well...some people like it, and some people don't...obviously lol

I tend to like it more than I hate it...but the mouth has to be just right.

Yeah... at the very least, it looks slightly more "natural" on Kuu... not exactly fantastic though, lol

The fish mouth or whatever honestly isn't the most appealing pose a woman could do, and kazuyoshi shimomura obviously doesn't know how to make a woman beautiful. :no

As for single Lick me is doing pretty good online. As PV & as PV. I think it's been in TOP5 for a week on iTunes and on music.jp or was it MUSICO. All thanks 2 SANKYO promo. However nor ECSTASY nor poor Hashire! didn't make it into MVtop100. And I remember that TABOO was in iTunes TOP100 MV's for a VERY long time. Looks like people in Japan liked main theme of the PV... :P

Hey I wanted to ask you guys... about Kumi's style

would you prefer her to stick to just one style (sexy/cute/ballad) or do a different style every single like she does now (ballad on one, sexy the next etc)

i think that variety is good, as long as the material itself is good. i think i'd get bored if she just did one genre over and over, especially since a lot of her songs begin to sound similar after a while.

Wow she really sang good in the Performance <3 I like it more than the first ECSTASY Performance.

i think it's kinda funny how she sounded better singing ECSTASY than both Lick me and Hashire, especially since her vocals in dance songs aren't as good as for other genres. i didn't expect her to sound so good!

i like kumi's variety, it's pretty easy for me to get people into her too because there's a lot to choose from. i like the ballad kumi, i like the dance kumi and i like the cute kuuchan. i haven't gotten bored of her since i was introduced to her music, and thats a very long time for me!

though i really think she needs to take a tiny break now just to rest and come up with some new ideas. she has already made enough wealth to last her for the rest of her lifetime, she needs to maybe get married to her boyfriend she keeps bragging about.. i hope she doesn't turn 30 and is still unmarried. i also want cute kuu babies :scry

the only thing is i think that she enjoys her job too much to take a break.
