While I think that "ever free" is a little masterpiece, I can't say the same for "Two of Us", it's the only Ayu song that I can't even remember and I am glad it didn't make it to ASFXX. Close to you is ok, I don't skip it when listening to RAINBOW, but it's not among my fave ballads.

I only recently heard Sotsugyou Shashin... and I really love it! Once you've heard it, it's hard to forget, isn't it? I like Close to you but I'm not sure if I've even heard Two of Us. ^^;

I think a couple people said they'd like one of the new songs to be a rock ballad, like Memorial address and at first I was like, "Yes! Exactly! Something like that!". But, I think I've changed my mind. I don't want something that's so close to Memorial address that the song loses its distinctive (imo) feeling. I feel like the rock element in Ma is there to represent the anger she feels but can't put into words against that person... so if these songs don't have any angry or negative feelings, then what's the point of the rock? Ah, that's just my opinion though... .///.;

So... basically, I guess I just want something completely different from anything? XD; Also, I can't wait to see the PV with the diamonds! *o*

Maybe rock doesn't fit sad feelings, but I still hope one of this ballad will be a dark one, like free&easy, marionette... and powerfully sad and emotional like walking proud or HEAVEN ^^

Personally, I think the song should suit the type of lyrics. We haven't seen the whole thing, therefore we won't know, right?
For example: Days lyrics were very sweet, and the instrumental was sweet so it made it very nice. Memorial Address had that rock, which really fit the lyrics. So in other words, if some lyrics will be dark, we might get dark. Sweet = sweet. I just hope it'll be epic, as it's the first single I'm pre-ordering from Ayumi.

I mean the music style. We all just based on the lyrics to judge the music style, but we don't know yet how these songs music styles would be. Maybe ayu would rap these lyrics, or sings these lyrics in B&D way? Ballads can be a slow rap, r&b type of song. We all don't know yet, and I hope she would NOT do that.

Yeah, I'm surprised she hasn't done anything with Rimmel London yet except for picture ads. She was supposed to start doing promotion in August, I think, but she was busy with a-nation and AT09... maybe we'll see something next year?

Oh! Sorry!! I think I gave high spectation for a CM as I couldn't underderstand her message!! And finnaly she was only talking about that CM she did.

Oh well... sure we'll be getting CM's soon... (or at least I hope so...) I really wish they will air a CM for RIMMEL ^^ But we can wait for sure for another LUMIX CM I think XD

Are some of you really speculating how the songs will be regarding the lyrics?
I mean, the lyrics can be great, but the song itself bad though....I'm just waiting, we will see how it'll turn out. To be honest, I trust Ayu to do anything, good or bad.

Ok, I never was a fan of her light hair in the first place, so yeah.

I think some people just seemed to think that the PV -> single cover for some reason... that generally isn't the case for most artists.

Also, no one has said anything about how they thought the songs would be like based on the lyrics, so why bring it up?

if the songs are going to be christmasy then I'm hoping for either namie's "white light" or crystal kay's "shining" they were both really good (although I doubt the shining once since they're both ballads)

did we get covers yet? jeez. taking a while. I'm skimming through the thread and I see not yet so far.
also I hate the colorscheme of that little picture thing with the green/blue/yelllow/orange they have on the site i realized she's been releasing really colorful things since NL.

I also think she's over that "no single is going to have over 6 tracks" thing since 2 recent singles have had over that. (rule and you were) and I'm just speculating since the last time she did that was years ago with the nwts single. and now she's doing it again years later and has done it twice in a year.

I don't think there was ever anything set in stone about that, it's just how things ended up for the years after NWTS. I wonder what made them decide to stick more tracks (remixes) on though. Maybe people felt that as a remix-queen of the early 00s, she was gypping a lot of her more recent tracks?

Ayu doesn't really do R'n'B-like songs (which, imo, is great, as too many people are doing the same thing) and considering the lyrics I doubt the songs will sound Christmasy as they don't seem like "happy" ballads to me.

I was reading the first press bonus for the TA members....what exacly is a fleece blanket? Is it one of those blankets that gets you really really really warm and confy? I love those. If it is how big do u guys think it might be?

It's not really one that'll get you warm and comfy... and it's not that big. I think it's more for wrapping around your upper body when it's cold than anything.

It's 900mm x 600mm or 3 feet long x 2 feet wide. [tokyoxjapanxfan posted the size]

That's certainly not very big, but fleece WILL make you feel very warm, even in small amounts <3

I have like four or five of these blankets, and I have one around me right now and it's not that warm, haha. I think it's because they're generally not that thick.
