Limited editions of Chiaki's debut single.

The Gundam edition comes with a slipcase that's designed to hold both the "Ryuusei no Namida" single and the Gundam Unicorn OST. In the second photo you can see the small cardboard box that's meant as a placeholder for the second disc. Altogether, it's a pretty neat package and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the single features the cover of the regular edition. :)

headynana's alright, I guess - as long as you know what you're getting, that is...

I don't like how a lot of their auctions are for sample CDs yet they don't state that in their listings. I also find it distasteful that they charge near-retail for them when they're items given away for free to shops for promotional purposes.

I do think sample CDs have some collector's value but they should really be honest about what they are and let customers decide for themselves if that's something they really want.


I had to check and it looks like it took about a month to reach me.

It was sent on Feb. 2 from Hong Kong and I received it on Mar. 2 here in Canada. I don't think it's EMS because it's so slow but they do give you a tracking number for your shipment so at least you know it won't get lost.

And the packaging is the same as YesAsia's regular service: they don't use boxes and instead wrap everything in multiple layers of bubblewrap. Nothing was broken with my order and I think it'd be fine for regular CDs but if you're ordering something with a unique case, I'd recommend asking for a box just in case. ;)

A lot of them are sample CDs, yeah.

You can usually tell it's a sample if there's a sticker over the barcode or somewhere on the artwork; it's usually a serial number of some sort.

And I think they're able to sell so many sample CDs because they're based in Hong Kong and not in Japan like their eBay profile claims. If they were actually located in Japan, they'd probably get in trouble for selling so many promo CDs since it's illegal to do so.

I was shocked because HMV HK shipped out my copy of Shota's new album on Thurs :thud so this's a new record beat that YesAsia & no I didn't use EMS , I just use registered airmail (they don't have normal airmail so there)

I'm still waiting for my BREAKERZ GRAND FINALE ~Seishun Days~ pamphlet to arrive & that goes for my 2nd box of BREAKERZ's frontman DAIGO first trading card box set too

I ordered them from CD Japan, and surprisingly, No More is the first press digipak edition which was listed as sold out. The "ships within" estimate was 3-5 days so I guess they must've had to order it from one of their suppliers. It was a nice surprise but it makes me want the first press of sad to say even more now just to complete my collection. :P

I brought the first press edition so I got CD+DVD+Photobook, and it has a cool slipcase too. There are holes in the windows and when you put the CD in the faces of the cartoon band members are in the windows.

^1997 was my first Asian CD, but i mainly got really major into collecting once internet got past only being dial-up in 2001. Also, due to an accident in 2004 I received some money from a legal issue that allowed me to go a little extra nuts on spending.

^ I remember you. You're the person from that one Kumi forum. When I posted my collection and someone said that it was pretty big, you started to brag about yours a bit.

I doubt those are really autographed by the Wonder Girls themselves....I really cant imagine them sitting down and hand signing 2,000 copies.....

I very VERY VERY sure they are real cause the sharpy stains on the back, and i sure therr is a video of them sign them, and they give a number stating that you have the real deal.......so there very real!

^No. I don't mean that the signatures are not real. I just mean I don't think the Wonder Girls signed each of the 2,000 copies. They probably had staff help them do the signing. A number doesn't really prove anything other than that it's an official copy. Official ≠ Signed by Wonder Girls. Regardless, that is a deal at $5 and people who are their fans should get one now before resale prices skyrocket when they run out.

ok I know I cancelled this order a while back ago xD but I preordered the CD + DVD limited edition of BREAKERZ's 1st mini acoustic album B.R.Z ACOUSTIC (again) on HMV Japan

I wanted to order it via CDJapan but if I want to use EMS , I have to pay 3,500 Yen >_< but for HMV Japan's case , I pay 2,924 Yen which's quite a discount

@Misato Mami's really good. I watched those two PVs u gave me and went searching around for more. I think I'll definitely buy an album once I have more money to get through more stuff I have on my "To Be Ordered" list.

@KarenPang HMV Japan's website. Little question, I heard you can browse it in english, but when you go to check out, it's all in Japanese. Is that true? Also, do they take paypal as a payment option?

1) you can browse HMV Japan's site in English . Go to http://www.hmv.co.jp/ & on the top right corner , you see an ENGLISH button & click that

2) they only accept credit card as a form of payment
