Very good previews! I like the songs quite a bit. Hopefully they make it in America after they finish their korea/asia promotions! Their english has improved! I didn't have to use lyrics to understand them. Although it took like two tries to understand them (talking bout english version of be my baby), it was definitely better than before. Sohee? sounds so good in english. She enunciates very well! I like!

I kind of have mixed feelings about the song and MV. ^o)

Like, the melody kind of reminds me of miss A's Breathe, which is imo one of the worst kpop songs evarrr. So that's a minus. But then it also reminds me of Christmas for some reason, which is a big plus... I think it'll grow on me, but atm it doesn't feel memorable enough to be a title track.

The MV is kind of boring, but at the same time, I like how it's pretty different from the usual kpop MV, while still being just a dance video anyways.

hmm.. actually i'm kinda disappointed a bit lols..
coz the teaser is sooooooooooo different from the actual song hehe..i thought they gonna sick something Rock pop or something.
and this song reminds me of Miss A's type.
but it's a catchy song though, sounds like a christmas love song.

i like the MV but it does channel that sense of Single Ladies.
The song is...ok...better than expected after hearing that preview. but it isnt STRONG enough.

^^ The song feels really WG to me, just... it also reminds me of Breathe.

But I'm not surprised at all, since JYP's girl bands are like all of SM's groups. Their music is SO interchangeable, because they just give the groups all the same style (for the title tracks, at least).

So yeah... miss A's songs have always reminded me of WG, and now WG's song reminds me of miss A. But I'm not surprised. XD

be my baby isn't my fav song on the album but i still like it. i can understand why they chose it as the title track, it's obvious that one would be the most successful in korea! idg the international kpop stanz saying it's the worst song ever. but at least it's being recieved well in Korea which is what rly matters!

the rest of the album is flawless! be my baby is probably the song i like the least tbh. but i don't even care bc there's still 11 other perfect tracks on the album!

yup, ,its a great album, GNO is perfect, my favs as well are Sweet Dreams, Superb, Dear. Boy and Girls Girls.

That's the second time I've heard this about the new WG material and I just don't see it. I mean, K-Pop is largely inspired by American music anyways, and I don't think the new album (from what I've heard) is any more American than other K-Pop out there right now. Also most mainstream American music since like 2004 has sucked hard, and I definitely don't think most K-Pop does.

tldr: just not seeing it.

and i don't think their previous albums are so americanized, they are more kpop for me.

after a few days i started to like BMB just as much as the other songs on the album ! either way i'd be a lot happier with an album full of great songs and a weak title track than i would be with an album full of fillers and one good title track

Me, in and G.N.O. are perfect. Be My Baby and Sweet Dreams are also. Everything else is almost perfect.

Actually, I hadn't heard the whole album when I replied before, so I wasn't seeing it from the songs I heard at that point. But I've listened to the whole thing now and I'm definitely hearing it. Definitely pretty heavy American influence on quite a few of the songs, but I still really like it. I think it's definitely better than SNSD's The Boys, and I like that album too.

Also, I'm absolutely in love with Be My Baby; my favorite on the album actually. Not really seeing why so many people think it's a weak track.

I think Sohee needs to work on here english a lot. She's the weakest out of the group but I know she can do better...it's probably just really hard for her.
YeEun has the BEST english of the group, of course we can't compare to Lim who is fluent already. Yubin, I haven't heard her speak much English but she needs more improvement than SunYe. SunYe has a slight accent in some words that after a while will probably disappear.

Anyway! Just my little rant, hahahah! I hope Wonder Girls at the Apollo doesn't fail!!!

yes SoHee has improved a lot. i'm so surprised.
but her lines in be my baby, maybe it's just me, she sings it like she has the american accent on the korean words, know what i mean? LOLS.
is it cause she spends too much time in US? haha~

I actually thought Sunye's English was a lot better than Yeeun's. She still has an accent, but she pronounced everything very clearly and distinctly. Yenny has much less of an accent, but she frequently misses letters in words, especially "s" as the ends of words.

My friend said Sohees lines in be my baby(especially the opening parts) sound really dragged and lazy, and not good vocal talent. I dont agree though, her vocals in that song sound really soulful and nice :heart

Support Wonder Girls by watching their movie on Teen Nick! They've been promoting pretty hard and if they succeed, it can finally establish that Asian artists can make it big! They also plan on touring right after their album is released! JYP says Summer, Wonder Girls says around Spring. Who knows...
