I think this sort of fashion is "in" in Japan, especially for Spring.

The shawls seem to be a new thing though.

But that combined with her "whisky"-like voice has such an aging quality on her though. :( I think her voice sounds really cool, it's just the combo.

She doesn't need to wear tight stuff, maybe just a little different? It's nice-looking, but, meh. Oh well, as long as she's happy with it, she's the one wearing it. ;)

I remember I saw something with kana nishino and she also wore clothes that looked like old women's clothing though it was springy and she also wore her casual hat.
