I love Days too, and I really don't understand people's hatred for it. It's just absolutely BEAUTIFUL, the perfect ambiance, wonderful lyrics and sweet music fitting into a Christmas-y theme (something that always makes the child in me fawn) paired with a bout of bittersweetness. And the video is AMAZING!
I'm going to have to disagree with most people here, and say that I agree with most of the lists. MOON/blossom's covers were beautiful IMO, better than BLUE BIRD and M. I would have liked "fated" in the top 10 song-list but sometimes it feels as if I'm alone in being completely in love with that song. BLUE BIRD topping the video-list felt a bit weird, but I can agree with that the video's great.
In short, I agree with 80-90% of the results. :yes

Ballad, ballad, ballad, ballad, upbeat song, ballad, ballad, upbeat song, ballad, upbeat song but partial ballad. Then again, i doubt anyone would like my list cause I would have connected, alterna, endless sorrow, and jewel up there and none of them are "cute, furry, fuzzy, kawaii desu ne, adorable, sweet"

Besides MOON, not that surprising... Seasons, M, SURREAL, Dearest and evolution (+Boys & Girls and Voyage) are her classics... No way to say, BLUE BIRD and HEAVEN already were pointed as fan favorites on the 10th anniversary poll and Days was pretty much a big hit considering how well it charted on digital sales... Nice to notice that there are songs from lots of eras, and not just a top10 made of old hits^^


MOON cover reflects what is trendy in Japan now... there are tons of female artists doing similar covers... not that surprising^^ The same goes for Days and MW.... M is a classic and BLUE BIRD is a fan favorite among her japanese and western fans alike xD *sexy ayu*

BLUE BIRD and STEP you ranked pretty well on the 10 anniversay poll, actually, STEP you was 1st on that... Rule is a surprise, No way to say is considered one of her best videos among japanese (VMAJ for best video, or something) and Days was the most or the 2nd most downloaded video from chaku-uta when it was released... no surprise...

It seens that japanese liked NEXT LEVEL era in the end of the day o.o

There are some good choices though, I'm glad BLUE BIRD (the song, not the PV) got great recognition over her other summer songs.

I love all the songs on the list! I think them all, except for moon are her best songs ever and it's what defines her as a Jpop artist. Those are the songs I usually recommend to others. So, this list wasn't that surprising.

My list would be completely different, but, as other people have commented, it's interesting to see the difference between the preferences of Japanese fans and international fans.

Most of my friends who don't like Ayu will sing Days in karaoke, because PV is really good, and it's a great song for them.

Anyways, these results are not surprising. At all. LOL

You can tell they remember some of the big classics and then focus on whatever's new. I'm kind of surprised that B&G didn't show up.

I'm also surprised with Days being at the No.1 spot but I love Days.
