I wonder how long she's actually known Mannie for? We assume that its just been since the Virgin Road PV but that could have just been a show for the cameras.

panda♥ 2nd January 2011 08:07 AM

^i think it's already been said that they've possibly been talking before the filming of Virgin Road, but the filming is the first time they met in person. :yes

No. You have to get a license first and register before the ceremony, at least here in the US. It's the law.

EDIT: Whoops, it shortened the link. Here:

Under law, it's the license that counts, isn't it?

Not sure about the US, I guess you guys do things differently. In most Asian countries, registry of a marriage is the real deal, not the ceremonies. ayu does sound like she considers herself legally married.

well i think they can still have a wedding/ceremony to celebrate it. assuming they will of course, we know how busy Ayu is though which is why i'm assuming they did everything so quickly and will have the actual wedding later. :laugh

Sooooo quick.. I'm shocked but extremely happy for her. Hard to get my head around the fact she went from being alone to being married so quick!

I guess one can think of it that way, but really registering is an okay from the state TO get married and have the ceremony. They have to make sure the parties aren't related, among other things. I think considering Ayu's not a citizen, registering is especially important too.

njanjayrp 2nd January 2011 08:36 AM

aww~ It's nice to see they're not making a huge fuss with a huge wedding.

panda♥ 2nd January 2011 08:43 AM

i just read through a whole bunch of Mannie's tweets and it's kind of obvious that they liked eachother or were dating, but i think we just brushed it off like they were acting because Ayu said so. :laugh

haha yea it's just so funny that this whole time, in fact, they were obviously dating.. but just most ppl thought they were just joking around..ahh~~ it's just so funny that we were all being fooled.. we should had seen it ever since they started to call hubby and wifey haha XDDD

AyUmIXx 2nd January 2011 09:02 AM

so it's true that they met n knew each other ever since VR filming?
then their love started to grow from then on?
oh well, so it's been few months then~

Mirrorcle World ~longing future~ 2nd January 2011 09:03 AM

If you say so, I will trust you, ayu
I will believe that you will be the same :)

We met a few month ago
30 Oct via web
This suggests to me that they likely did in fact meet at the filming of Virgin Road.

But if he wrote that Oct 30th... Doesn't that mean that they met a few months ago before that tweet? Like at least in July or even before that? Or am I totally thinking wrong here? O.o

Anyway I think this is soooo cute! I start to think about my dear friends and relatives who got married really fast just because "they knew" and even now, many many years after they still love each other endlessly. ^_^ Best of luck to Ayu and Mannie! :heart

And btw, THAT PIC MADE MY HEART IMPLODE! IT'S SOOO CUTE!

Jennie Mae 2nd January 2011 09:22 AM

The Virgin Road PV would have been filmed in August, which is a couple months before October, right?
I am sooo happy they are married! And yes yes yes, registered means married. A wedding is just for show and doesn't legally count unless you sign the right documents. Which they did.
Omg.
2011 is already the craziest Ayu year ever.
