So far the best for me is Acoustic orchestra. HANABI is flawless,
Evolution sounds like a classical superman theme. love it.
and Forgiveness the best among all the tracks.

the 2nd is Trance. love it better than 3 previous trance albums
3rd will be House remix, I like mirrorcle world.
the least is Eurobeat. I think this genre no longer attract listerners. it's kinda old style

fanayutic 19th April 2011 01:42 PM

^ agreed agreed. i love HANABI and forgiveness. As for the rest in the ao album, it's quite alright. But You were... kinda annoyed me. the melody is not what i had expected lol.

I love the eurobeat album; I know for sure that I am attracted by the awesome sound. ^__^

A little disappointed by the AO, I really like it, it's just not as good as ayu-mi-x IV, which I adore. It's only beaten by IV though, it's better than the earlier three, so I think disappointment is the wrong word, because I really did enjoy it. Just don't think it's the best. Nevertheless, I love the LOVE ~Destiny~ mix. It's stunning, and I hate the original.

ayu-ro mix is surprising, I don't know anything about Trance, Euro or House, but this album is my favourite. I love the Fly High and Startin' mixes~ so energetic. I like the Trance album too. Don't like the House one, it feels really bland. I guess I just don't like the style.

same here. I really would have preferred something different. like, even something really epic like the evolution orchestra version would have fit better. I'm really disappointed that You were... had to wind up being one of the weakest on that album :( I have been craving an orchestra version since You were... was first released and this is not the type I wanted/imagined.

I love the forgiveness mix too but while listening I got confused a couple times and thought it was just the original song playing lol.
I prefer Moments orchestra to the original song now <3 It's so beautiful.

So far Im hearing presents ayu-ro mix 4
I LOVE the ayu-ro mix 2 and 3. THIS ONE IS JUST AMAZING!!! I love the continuous eurobeat sound. My favs are STEP you, glitter, SURREAL, Startin', INSPIRE (OMGAWD), talkin' 2 myself (YES YES THE BRIDGE *squeals* >.<), FREE & EASY (woow..what a new sound!), Depend on you (funny to end with her old vocals..but STRONG SOUND OMG)

gonna listen and comment more tomorrow..but DAMN I LOVE THE NEW REMIXES OF ALL HER HITS OF HER 50 SINGLES! >.< really appreciate these works

Zeke. 19th April 2011 04:22 PM

Didn't listen to You were... in full yet but I liked it a Hell of a lot better than the original. The chorus is actually bearable in this version.

kotora 19th April 2011 04:23 PM

it should have "ayu-mi-x 7 -Again-" for the songs we wants to have remixes with all of these awesome remixers.

channy 19th April 2011 04:30 PM

I really LOVE ayu-mi-x 7 as a whole :)

...even ayu-ro mix 4, which is superb.

kiseki89 19th April 2011 04:38 PM

just started listening to the songs...
currently listening to STEP you (Morris Capaldi versus ayumi hamasaki rmx).. and i love it

noisy_harmony 19th April 2011 04:57 PM

I've never been a fan of remixes, so I won't say anything about trance, house and ayu-ro versions. Though I like Far away (Alex M.O.R.P.H. Extended rmx) and MOON (Clokx remix).

ACOUSTIC ORCHESTRA IS SO GOOD GOD. Some versions are as great as originals or even better (Moments, kanariya, LOVE 〜Destiny〜)! AND I'M INSANELY HAPPY BECAUSE MY FAVORITE SONG AKA FORGIVENESS WAS ARRANGED PERFECTLY :heart I was positively surprised by the innovative arrangements for NEVER EVER, Trust and AUDIENCE, but all songs have interesting instrumentals. Bravo for arrangers! The only mixes I didn't liked is WHATEVER (too funeral-like to me), BLUE BIRD (I'd like more calm and gentle arrangement, not a typical orchestra one) and You were... (the same problem like with BB, too noisy). If I had to choose favorite - HANABI. This album is going to be on repeat for a long time~ Such a flawless quality material. I needed something like this since Ayu's music got boring for me lately. These versions made me fall in love with her songs again~

toniayu 19th April 2011 06:23 PM

for me,now the version house is growing and the ayu-ro is losing importance...

hightea_xx 19th April 2011 08:35 PM

i felt that the house and trance versions were weaker this year than in the past... i loved trance 2 and 3, so maybe it's hard to compare, but 4 felt a bit lacking. still like it though, just not as much...

house side was... so so. definitely doesnt compare to ayu-mi-x 4 (which is like my holy grail).

i was most surprised by the AO album... usually am not fond of them, but they did an excellent job rearranging the pieces! some of these tracks are definitely going to make it into the ipod (which really doesn't happen at all!!!)

channy 19th April 2011 09:03 PM

It's crazy. At first I complained about all the older songs in the ayu trance 4 tracklist and now I must admit, songs like poker face, monochrome, Far away and SEASONS are the highlights of this album :O

I just love ayu trance 4.

Sirea 19th April 2011 09:28 PM

Ohmygodyouguys.

The eurobeat is just SO GOOD. Honestly I never even knew what was meant by eurobeat before because I never really listened to it. Then my boyfriend let me listen to Ayu-ro-mix in the car to and from school today, and I'm like... holy damn, it's Ayu meets DDR or Sonic or something.

I love the living crap out of it. <3333

Okay I've basically gotten through most everything now so here's the rest of my opinions:

HOUSE is completely decent and listenable. I have no problem with it, save for one. I think Virgin Road should not have been remixed. It's such a nice, sentimental song, with very real meaning in Ayu's life. It almost seems like the remix cheapens that. I don't know. :/

Trance is also quite good. The songs are for the most part faster and more energetic than those on HOUSE, but I sort of think that's just a characteristic of the two genres. Save for that, there's not a ton of difference between HOUSE and trance, yeah, shoot me. Not saying this is necessarily bad, but they're just pretty similar. *shrugs* Take that how you will. vogue's remix was wonderful, but I thought CAROLS was a bit strange. Whatevs.

AO I thought was really good, and different from how I expected. One thing that stuck out to me was the sort of jazzy arrangement of Trust, and the other arrangements by Akimitsu Homma. They're very unusual in comparison to the rest, but quite nice. I enjoyed it all thoroughly.

And Eurobeat. Enough. Said. <3

Overall, if I may rate, I'd give this entire release a 10. I was not in any way disappointed. Then again, this being my first Ayu-mi-x (*ducks*) I didn't know what to expect, so I had a very open mind. I'm impressed. ^_^

Kanzaki 19th April 2011 10:49 PM

The thing for me about Eurobeat is that too much is going on, it sounds very noisy and it reminds me of parapara. It's too hectic. I can listen to it for short amounts of time and be liking it, but I just have to turn it off after a few songs.

HOUSE is a bit boring, it's the only one of the 4 albums where I'm still searching for a definite favorite. The appears mix seems to be that one, but I'm not sure. I wish they'd gone a little more 'crazy' with the HOUSE mixes.

Kazeyomi 19th April 2011 11:10 PM

Today I listened to the whole Trance album:

I never been a huge fan of trance music, but Trance is overall really really good. I never thought how trance music can be so various and good to hear. I'm impressed :D lol.
I enjoyed the whole album :yes and maybe it would be my second favourite ayu-mix- 7 album, after AOV!

Next album Eurobeat!

It's really good for high-paced exercising though!

Pieces_of_SEVEN 19th April 2011 11:39 PM

trance = perfection
euro = cute and fun, don't mind it
house = love some tracks, dislike others
AO = complete waste of time.

butterfly_ayu 20th April 2011 12:25 AM

For AO, I didn't like anything from trust to you were... o.0, but the last two tracks saved me from hating on that album. forgiveness and love~destiny~ were fabulous! <3 the first half was not bad as well, kanariya really surprised me. i'll probably give AO a B+ still <3, because i never liked ayu's other acoustic orchestra albums that much.
House was okay. Love the first five tracks and the last two (just like AO, I had no idea why). My favorite is definitely fairyland. The rest aren't bad, i got a little bored half-way through the album though.
I'm right now 2 tracks away from finishing euro, I have a feeling it may be my least favorite of the four. STEP you a great start off for the album, but I didn't like the next four tracks very much. & I like the rest, especially INSPIRE and startin'
