I actually really like this fad of color contacts. A lot of people don't cause they say they don't look real...but I don't think they're meant to look real lol They're meant to look cool...

and they do :heart I love them on all the models in my mags, and I love that they're usually good enough that they can really color your eyes.

Haha me too. Although I guess you could wear normal glasses over them but that would sort of ... defeat the purpose.

Not at all! In Japan, many fashion subcultures are very into wearing contact lenses, and that includes the men. Just look at Gyaru-O and the Visual Kei fashions. And they are catching on in other places. I see lots of guys around town who wear contact lenses.

I was a bit excited when I saw the title, but these contacts look a bit cheap and nothing special ~.~
I don't like that it's not ayu's eye... hope there will be good promo pics.

Yeah, I don' think its her eye either, but an eye that is supposed to look like it is. Maybe the lenses would have looked better if Ayu herself had modeled them?

yay! she has been wearing some lenses, maybe not circle lenses, but well, colored ones since 2000, I do remember. it's not that often, though :)

I totally agree. I for one would not even consider wearing any of them. But it's nice Ayu promotes (?) something else but make-up. :)

I really do like these color contacts. I would totally get some green ones if I could afford the $55 price tag.
But alas, I cannot. But actually, $55 isn't too expensive. A friend of mine bought some violet colored contacts for around $75, and they aren't prescription or anything.
And btw, that does look like Ayu's eye to me...but I could be wrong.
