i've already listened to this more than 5 times and i can't help but go like this :shakehead:shakehead:irked:shakehead when i hear ayu's voice mix in with urata's, also some parts of the instrumental remind of the background music in insaniquarium for some reason.. :headache

I like it a lot, it's one of those songs that all Japanese like so lol it could do pretty well :P

so far to me it's like this:

Why... > ANother song > progress > beloved

listenable, but not memorable.

ANother Song was okay-ish to me :innocent so far I'm not sure if i like it or not. i hope the PV will make me like the song better. it was a nice song, but it's just too simple. it's weird how ayu's voice was so different from what she sounds like in Why... too, her voice was even deeper than Naoya's. at some point I kept on mistaking naoya's singing as ayu's. I had never realized Naoya's voice can be that feminine. xD

I never ever agree with these things but I have to agree that you're right with this one.

I wouldn't call anything that isn't "HONEY" the worst in her discography, to be honest. Just my opinion, though :P

I'm glad Ayu is trying different things here, I just wish the arrangements would be more polished somehow. It just sounds a bit too weak to be a completed song. The beat thing is annoying me.. I can't fully enjoy the song, it would have been SO MUCH better without it.

The melody is really nice though, I don't really care about URATA, but yeah, he definitly got too many singing parts here, but why not after all? His voice sounded fine.
It could have been much better, it just misses a little bit of power? and let down the attrocious arrangements.

As for my personal ranking, it should be the following

progress > Why... feat. JUNO > beloved > ANother song feat. URATA NAOYA

Hopefully BRILLIANTE will bring some sort of originality to the whole package :)
But I'm quite confident it'll be something different this time around.

it's so.. calming and soothing.. their voices blend in very well with each other IMO

lol @ people totally getting their panties in a twist about this entire release. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the reason most of the songs are quite simple and calm is because of all that's been happening in Japan this year. It's sort of been her theme, and I think if she bought out a bunch of Microphones or Sparkles it'd be a bit weird....

Anyway, the song. Don't particularly like it but it's different for her, that's for sure.

I actually love the melody, it's so peaceful and soothing for me, however, Urata's voice is just... :no. I think I would like this song a lot more if only Ayu sang it.

That was quite horrible. Ayu please stop making collabs you seriously suck at it.
I cringe when I heard the guy's voice and Ayu's vocals weren't exactly any better.
