I don't think there should be a new thread, the blu-ray sales probably won't top a few thousands (if we will be even able to know any sales of it, we depend on 2ch for that) so this thread would be sufficient.

I think sales would have been much higher if they announced a release same time with CD

But then maybe more people would have bought the bluray version instead of the dvd+cd version -> worser performence in the main album chart.

who would buy the blu-ray version if you already have the regular CD+DVD? I would not

That's not actually low sales, it's pretty decent considering the circumstances. Music Blurays usually sell 5-20% of the DVD equivalent in Japan as far as I know. The DVD version has been out for ages so you can't expect it to be even comparable to the first week sales. But this sold like what...half of the weekly sales of the CD and CD+DVD this week? Pretty good.

Did RIAJ certify FIVE platinum already? There should be over 250k copies shipped by now :/

they will probably certify it the next 20th...

Physical cds are usually updated on 10th but it seems they are being late.
