Very strange since he was only really gone for one set of lives and then he was back? Maybe he had something to do. I think he left for CDL10-11/part of POWER of MUSIC? Then he came back for the finale or somewhere around the end of it?

I think Ayu tried to explain that because so many fans was sad when Subaru left. And she said something like that no dancer in her troup are "safe" to work in the next tour, CDL, a-nation etc. They all have to do new auditions for each tour. And sometimes they won't cut it but they do it most of the times (as we have seen).

Even though she didn't write it out, but I'm sure that dancers she had before always gets a free ticket into the next tour when they enter the auditions.

That was her explanation. In Subarus case he maybe got something else to do so he left Ayus troup. But then maybe he got free to dance for Ayu again. Probably something like that.
