I get that, but was the PV really needed then? I mean the song isn't bad, but for some reason I can't imagine a PV that would end up being interesting in any way :thud Also if we compare it to her previous digital single it doesn't come even close to what Together When... was.

Together When... was more of a traditional Ayu ballad imo. I wonder what sort of PV they have planned for how beautiful you are though... it might be rather simple like HEAVEN or Curtain call, but we'll see I guess! The PV is probably being made because they feel that it's a good enough album track to get one, or something like that. (Also because it has the drama tie in, I suppose? You never really see the drama songs NOT getting PVs... and IIRC all of Ayu's have gotten videos)

I don't really like to question the choices made because there's usually a (good) reason behind it.

I don't even think that could be considered a single since they haven't really done anything with it.
It is the ending theme to a drama that is doing okay... but besides that, there is no promotion nothing to say that she is doing something..

I almost wish we didn't get these daily rankings because people get so worked up over them. Back when HEAVEN debuted at #2 and #3... that was a scary time for this place, haha. People were claiming that the single had 'been to hell and back'.

Good reason or not, I'm afraid I can't see it :P

It's refreshing to know that all of the how beautiful you are items shot up after the drama aired. However, they did not crack the top 5 which is expected since it's AKB48/GReeeeN/Kana Nishino/others occupying those spots.

It's polyphonic midi chaku uta, ayu barely release them nowadays (unfortunately) I think I will always love them though the japanese midi ringtones are better than others.
