Well, that was understandable, I think. They pay to see exclusive information and have that 'connection' with Ayu while a lot of the international fans were able to have that via Twitter free of charge though a lot of overseas fans are now also members of TeamAyu.

I think most fans now think of all fans as "TeamAyu" since Ayu scolded the Japanese fans for their outbursts a while back.

Yes, its that. I'm not sure how to take it exactly but I am pretty sure that I don't remember tickets still being available from the official source this close to one of her concert dates. Combine that with the significant drop in sales for this album (as well as her concert DVD) maybe she really did actually lose some fans recently.

They got really angry because she was tweeting in English to international fans and also sort of 'leaking information' on Twitter before she did on TeamAyu. It was mainly an issue because TA members pay to see the information ahead of time.

I think a lot of overseas fans would pay if they could (and they do via Tenso) so that was all resolved, imo.

As for the April 8th date having a ~special sale~ of tickets right now, I wonder if they were more strict about people buying X amount of tickets so scalpers didn't get to buy them as quickly as they usually do?

^ Honestly, being an overseas ayufan is way worse than being a japanese fan. Why should I pay money if im not gettin the 90% of Team Ayu advantages? (TV programs, concert tours, special events....) i wouldnt even understand ayu's entries so...
I hope she creates an international TA with english entries (and less expensive since we get way less advantages)

WHat if I am not particularly interested in the ayupans but the towels, fans, and (if there is one) a tour book. Is getting there at 12 necessary?

I can't remember at what time they open the shops, I remember lining up and waiting for a couple of hours, but it wasn't that bad, once it is open people go crazy and many of the limited things sell out (I remember we got just in time before some of the glasses with the singles' covers sold out), but most things this time don't seem that limited, it should be okay, if you wanna make sure you get what you want I would personally get there a bit earlier :)

It's only until 5/27 at Nagoya that you are able to receive anything. The tour dates after that don't have this. :)

Yeah I plan on getting there early but just not right at noon haha One thing I am still getting used to is how early concerts are in Japan!!
