Yeah! Her voice sounds much better than in most songs in PQ, I'm surprised :D As if she recorded it during the GUILTY era imo.

Definitely sounds better from the HQ-trailer. But also kinda bland and generic. Like...it would make a good Nana Mizuki album track, but not more. Hoping for some interesting twist in the full version. We didn't realize progress had an acoustic opening and heavy guitar solo at first either.

Well, there was the official announcement a day or two ago... then the actual 'reveal' that happened today. And the announcement that she was doing the ToX 2 theme.

And then there's also the fact that it'll be released in a different version on another CD that isn't Ayu-centric. It stinks when there's a lot of news, but I don't think we can really stick it in one place yet since it's just ONE SONG atm and not an officially announced physical release yet.

I'm also hearing (and digging) the Nana Mizuki-ness of the song.

To be honest, I absolutely love it. Progress is one of her best songs imo and if I had to choose the song I thought most likely to become a "classic" from this era, it'd be progress, if that makes sense.

I get a similar feeling from Song 4 U. What I like is that the songs really fit the games - I dunno how many of you have played the Tales of series and can appreciate it, but the songs sound very, very Tales-esque, very moving and driven and with a bit of a fantastical/ethereal hint.

This song, just like progress last year, gave me goosebumps! That's a really good sign in my books.
