I think she looks great. Reminds me a lot of the Vivi shoot she did a few years ago. I don't remember people blasting her for looking "trashy" at that time. Why is this time different?

And are people really saying she's too old to do this? I think that's what bothers me the most. So once you reach a certain age you can't dress (or in this case I guess) pose sexy? If someone is comfortable with their body (like Ayu clearly is) why does it matter what they do with it?

I wish she had a tank top on or something, I think it would be much classier. But I really doubt it was Ayu's idea to do that, and it's not a new thing for her or for many other similar artists to do on photoshoots.

I don't think that picture is such a big deal lol. It's not as if she got down on all four and spanked herself...Whatever she does is most likely not going to be received well for some time.

We were particularly talking about the cover and I doubt anyone is going to read this magazine like a book, given the fact it's not going to unveil any unexpected content worth reading except of the usual "I want to be myself" banter.

I for one don't thumb through such magazines seeking for a story that could be of any relevance or at least non-fictional. However, I appreciate classy and adequate photography.

One of the absolute stand-outs regarding Ayu's photographic history would be the "Hamasaki Republic" book. Ever since I've seen those thoroughly planned, purposefully arranged, artistic pictures, my standards for Ayu's pictorial output explicitly increased.

I always try to bear in mind there have been these exceptionally well done works and they still exist. It just makes me wonder why standards and values of her producers regarding her image have gone downhill so much.

That happened to Ayu too during the earthquake... A lot of people tried to dismiss her donation and her helping people via twitter as marketing strategy... Funny enough, other part of the haters complained she wasn't doing enough.

The thing is: For some people she is on a lose/lose situation no matter what she does.

Interesting is that it's a pretty fresh magazine, the first issue was out in March of this year...

You are right. The picture is not a big deal. In fact, LOVEpears and Vivi had the similair look. She looks fantastic, I absolutely agree, and her body is amazing too, but well... just the question 'why, again' pops up in my mind. I'd love to see topless shoots, just the concept is disappointing and it misses some refreshing charm imo. As for these are my reasons why I do not like this. So far I haven't read anyone else complaining about 'too much revealing' because a lot of fans seem to love the cover. We know this Ayu. Just, why again?

I just want to know if those are her real tatts or not.
