Those covers are really good (the best one in my opinion is the normal CD album edition) but I really think her left eye on the CD+DVD edition is a bit strange...Maybe a mistake on the photo-retouch ?!:rolleyes

I love them so freaking much!!! I just want to order all the versions for all the covers!!! I might just do it!!!

If there's an ALONE message in it, I guess it could mean she felt ALONE in the past, but now she doesn't, instead she's become A ONE, A WHOLE (kinda strange to think this way if you take things too literally, but I've seen Japanese people using English terms in some very creative and kinda poetic way whether they didn't notice a bad grammar or did)

So...
A ONE covers are fine, nothing amazing but nothing bad. really like the CD+DVD one.
They feel a bit random and déjà vu though...

CDL is... I mean... I'm glad they put some... creativity in it... I just wish they would select a good graphic designer and not the first intern to do it?
It is truly horrendous. The composition is a disaster.
The job seems to have been done with something like Paint. I even wonder if her legs are not distorted with the perspective tool. Something seems off to me (or it may just be the cube perspective which is totally wrong). :rolleyes

Hm, now with the big covers (thanks btw), it's pretty obvious they gonna play somehow with the booklet/packaging and the title A One. The space betwenn the A and the One is so big. Big enough for another letter...

I'm not gonna lie to myself and believe that there's actually a meaning behind the title of this album. I mean, that's not going to make me feel less excited about it either.

Ayu usually doesn't lie about stuff like that. Like the LOVE/HOPE thing in FIVE.

Or maybe they just wanted "A ONE" to be the same width as "ayumi hamasaki" and used the justified alignment :D

I'd really be happy if Ayu did something creative with the cover like this, but she normally doesn't play with packaging that much unfortunately

Btw, I just realized that this is the first time we have a close up of her tattoo (or a part of it) in a cover of a new album, right?
In Party Queen's covers it was visible too, but not in a close up.

Of course I hope someone do prove the real meaning behind the title. I'm just not buying the idea for now. :)
