I listened to Globe original song after Ayu's cover. The original is really nice and I feel the intensity that you're talking about. But The arrangement in Ayu's version doesn't convey the same thing at all. Ayu's voice is ok, you hear that she's trying to add another dimension but the arrangement doesn't follow her and just make the song monotone and standardised.

But you can't judge that based on the preview, the intensity and evolution could come right after where the previews stops.

It already sounds smashing though with no relation to that.
So good!

How can someone NOT love this song? I'm literally crying right now. Many Classic Moments is one of the songs that made me fall in love with jpop back then. Honestly guys, go and listen to some poo trash then and leave classic jpop alone. My heart is broken now. (y____y)

ayu did a good job but the original version is so dryyyyy. i cant enjoy ayus version because the song itself is not goood --.--

This.

I am seriously scratching my head.
The song does make the listener "anticipate", which is another thing that makes it so great.

that is really simple. I, for example, can't stand EDM and will never listen it no matter who's the singer

I didn't know the original song, it's gold.
and ayu version? SLAY MATERIAL.

I love this. I love this side of ayu <3

Wasn't talking about Ayu's version but about the original, which isn't EDM. It's a typical jpop song, maybe with electronic elements, but mostly every pop song has those.

I don't think it's fair to judge "EDM" in general, as it's not only what you hear on the radio. EDM has a seemingly limitless amount of subgenres, one of which you are bound to enjoy (for example, LOVEppears is technically EDM). It's just really difficult to grasp that when the market is currently extremely saturated with the same sound/sub-genre.

I actually really like it! Heard ayu's version first but after listening to the original, I'm really excited to hear what she does with the rest of the song.

TheRainbow 4th December 2015 03:37 PM

I've been replaying the preview all morning--it really sounds like it'll grow into something good. I hope it's a long song!

YukiUsagi 4th December 2015 03:40 PM

Really love DEPARTURES / HYDE. I must have it :love

jbrat2219 4th December 2015 03:49 PM

Everyone's cover sounds really good! I like TRF, ayu, HYDE, GReeeeN. I might have to get this album, lol....

Corvina 4th December 2015 04:14 PM

TRF's and hitomi's covers sound really good so far as well!
Hope they upload previews for the rest soon.

I would be agree if the lenght of the preview was 30 sec. But seriously, here it's around 3 min. It's enough to have a proper view about a song yet. Moreover, the original song have the intensity since the beginning while ayu's cover loses it after the introduction.

jbrat2219 4th December 2015 04:28 PM

So I've been dancing to this preview non-stop. I think I need help.

Gustavopc 4th December 2015 04:30 PM

After seeing all these comments I listened to the original song and I get what you all mean with the song building up after the snippet we got, so yeah I might enjoy the full thing if it really takes off, too bad the snippet seems not to be making it any justice

But the original song is almost +4 more minutes (it's around 6:52ish), maybe on ayu's case it just starts after the first chorus, it doesn't have to be the same intensity as in the original, but it's fine if you prefer it to be from the beginning. ^^

I had never listened to globe and I love the original version too. I'll download it now.
