Neither of the songs seem interesting to me, but then Mint didn't either in those tv reports and I loved the full thing. The photoshooting seems really promising, hoping for great covers, I feel a WILD/Dr. vibe

My sister is a big Dead Note fan so I'm sure she will be stoked on this news even though she's not really a big Namie fan

That said Namie looks great in the promo shots . I wonder which was the song that she debuted during the tour ? I think it's Dear Diary ?

I never ever ever ever ever in all my years would imagine NamiexDeath Note. I was a HUGE fan of the anime back in High School, though I've hated every single live adaption they've done since. That said, I love Fighter, not totally crazy about Dear Diary but I always keep an opened mind until the full songs are released. Can't wait to hear more. This girl is on fire this year, holy jeez.

That's amazing news! Awesome tie-in. I'm really REALLY liking the previews, which I can't say for any of her singles after _genic. The possible album cover art is also spectacular. I have high hopes for this single.

On another note, I gotta say Namie's been really transitioning out of her EDM sounds lately. A lot of the songs in this era could easily fit into her PLAY-Uncontrolled eras (for example i totally see Mint in P<F, Black makeup in PLAY, and Fighter in Uncontrolled). Not that I'm saying it's a bad thing---I'm just really surprised since it seemed like she was going to stick to the genre after FEEL/_genic lol. All of her singles (even including Brighter Day) have been sounding soooo jpop-y. I love it.

Death Note Light up the NEW world will be released in cinemas on 29th Oct so probably Dear Diary / Fighter will get released on the same week as the movie

Shininamie yaass with all those great tie-ins it would be a huge surprise if she didnt include these singles in her next album. Would probably also help sales and maybe outsell _genic but that's just a guess and a big reach lol
