The announcement should be that the concert dates are cancelled/postponed because it's not going to happen and if it does happen then Ayu and her team are tone deaf to the pandemic and the sentiment in Japan right now.

Can we move on from using this for everything?

This might just be me taking things personally that I shouldn't but the more emails we get about the return concert the more frustrated I get.

Maybe I'm just projecting some but I know there aren't heaps of foreign fans currently in a position to go to the concert but just the constant note about how they won't sell to non-Japanese fans just irritates TF out of me.

Like, we get it, certain groups think all foreigners are infected with Covid and only foreigners can spread it...ughhh... it's just so annoying seeing the more blatant discrimination out in the open.

^ Pretty sure they just didnt phrase it well enough. The japanese notice says that they're not selling to those who are residing outside of Japan. Which makes sense imo. Being a foreigner doesn't mean you're more likely to get infected, but the fact that you have to travel from abroad increases the risk, and is quite complicated now anyway. Might result in many people buying the tickets but being unable to come, or even worse: people being reckless and finding ways to come despite restrictions

Actually it's because tourists can't come to Japan yet so it's pointless to sell tickets outside. But you know, English and Japan are not a good combination lol

I picked up on that as well. I had to check the Japanese to make sure it didn’t really say that lol. The Japanese is written more vaguely. Not sure why they phrased in such a way for the English.

Are you a member of the international TA or the Japanese TA? That is something I'm wondering about. If I would be in Japan using my international TA membership but having my address registered in Japan, would I still be able to get a ticket? Or would I need to make a new Japanese TA membership account?

This. Visa applications even for business/work are not accepted.

Even the U.S. State Department just imposed a level 4 (do not travel) advisory today (24 May). I don't know why the U.S. government has kept Japan at level 3 (reconsider travel) for a bit too long.

Has her hearing been in a steady decline? I really hope she releases more albums and develops better singing techniques because I feel like she will just perform and one day it’s going to just be too too much. I’ve been trying to find info on this and her health for like 3 minutes but thought to ask here since I like how many people here seem to have seen her live and maybe keep up with her vocals too aha
