Just got back from A-Nation in Kobe.

Ayu was fantastic. Her singing was great.

Just to add to what pictures have been shown here, there was another outfit which was like a (ground length) flowing white dress. Very beautiful.

She didn't really say much at all at Kobe, and no mention of the whole Avex affair.

Just some opinions generally on A-Nation. EXILE, Every Little Thing, TM Revolution, and Ayu would've been the highlights of the Kobe show today. Otsuka Ai was also really good, except her set was very short. I was quite dissapinted with Do As Infinity I have to say which is a shame because I was quite looking forward to seeing them.

Sadly, BoA wasn't scheduled to perform in Kobe :(

But Ayu had the most elaborate costumes, sets, dancers and everything. She started by coming up from under the stage in like a jail cell, then they often then stood on top of them and got lifted up higher.

Was excellent.

Wow....sounds very very Ayu. That's great! :yes I'm guessing she performed "GAME" with that jail cell thing?

BTW, no worries because BoA is performing at the show in Tokyo.

BTW....I'm sure others have noticed, but Ayu looks a lot younger in the scans. I tihnk it's the hair that does it. Please tell me that Ayu's hair is naturally long again and she's not wearing ugly wigs. :(

FancySN 23rd August 2004 05:24 AM

^Sorry to disappoint, but I think it was wigs.

Meh... :shakehead

For wigs then, that "hair" looks pretty real.

I wonder what she sang in all of those outfits. I know the inspire is in the one legged suit, but....

!powpow! 27th August 2004 03:17 AM

Yay more pics! I like her shorts/white shirt look but the pink outfit makes me think of a Vegas showgirl!

Mirai Noah 27th August 2004 03:58 AM

Wow... thank you the pictures of her different outfits... the pink one weird and funky, but the one with the red hat is nice.

Thanks Prime! I wonder what song she san gin the pink "Vegas flamingo" outfit, which BTW, looks super kawaii on her. I also wonder what she sang in the red hat and short jeans. I know the one legged red suit is "INSPIRE" or "GAME", either one or both...since she had no black "GAME" outfit.

Yoshiaki at Ayunite! posted the following (with translation by tayhongxiang):

http://www.tokyo-nights.org/images/ayu-anation15.jpg

A Nation 04 concert was over last Saturday, on the 28th August at Tokyo memorial park. Even though it was drizzling on that say, the happiness and enthusiasm of the 45000 fans there couldn’t be denied.

The concert started with this year’s new comer Ai Otsuka, playing and singing her song <<Goldfish, fireworks.. sorry dunno the title, translated it directly.. hahax>>. HITOMI performed wearing denim clothes, making the crowd overjoyed. Korea’s pop queen BoA performed in a “racer” costume, dancing and singing. AVEX’s new singnings Tommy February 6 and TM Revolution also performed well. When Tommy February 6 sang the theme song for pikachu’s movie <<L.O.V.E.L.Y>>, Pikachu appeared on stage. Every Little Thing’s female lead singer has changed her image, singing a ballad on stage. Last to perform was Hamasaki Ayumi, who appeared in a short bright red skirt, singing and dancing to her new song <<INSPIRE>>. Clearly the “leader” of the performers, Ayu also sang <<Boys & Girls>> and many other familiar tracks. The whole concert lasted more than 4 hours and ended with a fire works display.

Although Namie Amuro didn’t perform in the concert, she brought her son, Haruto to watch TRF’s performance. That day, Namie dressed simply, standing right in front of the stage with her son enjoying her ex-husband, Sam’s performance.

Say Yeah! 3rd September 2004 03:54 PM

I'm not digging the outfit too much, but I like the fact that she sang "GAME" and several other songs. I'd buy the concert just for a performance of "GAME"!

BTW, anyone have any inkling when this concert will become available? Thanx.
