CONGRATS AYU..really happy for her new record...

and BB did sell well..yay...i hope she can break 300k also...
i hope it wont turn out like fairyland...170k+ for first week and end up being the weakest among the best singles last year..(excl. B&D/P)

Well... fairyland like sales would still be very very good considering the (lack of) success of the past 2 singles... But this first week debut is already a good omen.

you know it's actually really weird that when a single like Bold&Delicious/Pride doesn't sell that much, but it still manages to be a #1-hit; people find the single weak. Thousands of artists would kill to get a #1-single; let alone 27!...

Anyway... Yeah Ayu has to work alot harder to get 300k now.. BLUE BIRD proved it.. In 2001, a single like this might get 1mil... It's amazing Ayu can still reign with her #1-streak... Congrats to Ayu, congrats to Avex, congrats to BLUE BIRD :)

It's all about strategizing, finding which week has the weakest competiters.

That's kind of mean. I don't think it will anyways. It's a 4 A side single as well as 4 Pvs on the DVDs. Great songs and great tracklist. Plus the songs have commercial tie-ins. It will probably get best selling single. :yes

I hope it does. Koda Kumi worked hard for this single (whereas when Ayu released A, there were no PVs to with it, and she shot 1 cd cover :(..).

It's probably the 3 covers, if she has around 250 HARDCORE fans, who buy all three, she just made 750. Same goes for MY STORY, 4 covers, if she has 250 hardcore fans, 1000 sales goes right there...it's the covers people, the covers now adays...
