Mine was by accident. I was listening to some Inuyasha mps's and the song Dearest sounded intriguing and then i heard the chorus of it then i got hooked.Then I started to listen to other Ayumi songs.

I went over to his house one day, and he was downloading the PV for Dearest. So I watched what was download of it. But, what really got me into her is when he let me watch the A MUSEUM he had. Right there, I loved Ayu :3

^I've seen threads being merged before... Anyway, I actually bumped into Ayu's music... However there was a story behind it... I remember that one guy (online friend) sends me a video and he puts the song Naturally in the video... I like it but didn't care about the singer... THEN I bumped into Ayumi's music again... If I am not wrong, it was evolution... Loved it and start "ayu-ing" hahaha

My first impression of her wasn't that special...she was the 1st Jpop singer I listened to, next to Hikki. I didn't really fall in love with her music until I bought her "I am..." album.

My first impression? I thought she was lousy from Memorial Address. Took me a full year to appreciate that album.
