Years ago - when I first started to listen to Japanese music - I came across Kana too and started to like her immediately.
True, her music and voice are kinda strange, but I like this. I'm not too normal myself! ;)

i tried to listen to both albums but her style is too teenage..

I've heard two of her songs: In one of them it sounded like she was being molested and in the other; like she had not pinched a loaf for months. So no Kana for me! It's not like she can't sing at all, I loved her voice when she sang Eternal Snow for the FMoS anime.

I can understand that some people adore her, she's got that "love or hate it" voice, unfortunately for me it's just the hate option. Really cute girl though :)

Right now I would vote again and say I love her :)

Definitely not the Kana I remember. I met a singer with the same name outside Ikebukuro Station in 2010 and bought her CD she had self produced with a couple musicians helping her out. I was there to hear her perform a few songs and with just her and her keyboard she was really good and she was only asking 1000 yen per CD.
