It seems that a lot of people really don't consider Ayu's titles and lyrics very closely. Maybe some people are reading poor translations, but for the most part, Ayu's titles always appear in the song in some way, shape, or form. It's just that the lyrics are Japanese and the titles are English, so the titles appear in the lyrics usually as concepts rather than words. They are very much conceptual, to embody the idea of the entire song. Others, like HANABI or CAROLS, don't appear in the song, but either suit the song's musical feel or have some sort of personal relevance (eg HANABI being the name of the bar where the emotional story behind the song took place).

Ayu generally has the best titles, but the only ones I would change are:

1. "theme of a-nation '03" because it deserves to be a stand-alone song.

2. "Startin'" because I hate when people chop off a perfectly good "G" in writing.

3. "Are You Wake Up?" because it is absurd, even if it was intended to be a pun on Ayu's name. As far as name puns go, "Ayu Ready?" was a lot more clever, because it was a pun that actually worked on both sides.

I am not a big fan of the phrase "Beautiful Fighters", but since it appears in the song anyway, there's no real point in changing the title.

Oh, I never thought about that, um, how do you mean, like Ayu Wake Up?

^^I never though of it that way...haha. If it was intended to be that way...then it is cute...well....it was always cute...even if wierd...

Could also be Are You Wake Up? - AYWU? - but that's a bit ... far fetched.

"CAROLS"...it's the most misspelled Ayu song ever I think.
Hope you mean other people misspell the word since CAROLS itself is spelled right. But it does have a witnery feel - which is why I think the title is very fitting.

Although for some reason I'd find it absolutely hilarious if it were misspelled CARLOS or something.

For those who wonder... CAROLS.

It's very correctly spelled and it does have a sensible meaning :).

Technically not a Christmas song, definitely not loud or joyous, but it was her winter single. People associate winter with Christmas, so.... yeah, it definitely fits.

I think the iiiiiiiIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiii's are pretty loud ;)... oh well.

Yeah, her titles are a tad off here and there.

Honestly the only thing that could be changed in my opinion is Are You Wake Up? I imagine she would've had it something like, Ayu Wake Up?, although that seems a little too obvious.

I guess I'm just so used to Ayu's song titles that I've grown to like them just the way they are.

wasn't the title somekind of protest... like a crying ayu on the A BEST cover? I heard something like that.
