i love em

extepan 11th June 2007 09:17 AM

it would be a nice trip down the time tunnel when they do a reunion tour.

victoria has already confirmed a reunion tour and an album, at the end of this year!

Jordan 12th June 2007 01:12 AM

There is NO way a new album will come out! Melanie C is not up to recording, she would rather people remember the SG for what they were!

..:Hot:Like:Wow:.. 12th June 2007 01:31 AM

lol... Mel C has already rejoined and agreed with the comeback greatest hits album... Posh has also talked about one of the new song's going to be a big hit.

Jordan 13th June 2007 11:30 PM

Maybe a Greatest Hits, but no new material.

If something new happens ill eat my words, but i cannot see it happening!

marty518 14th June 2007 06:15 AM

The news is already out - Victoria herself confirmed the new album!

Not only that, but the news media has already gotten contract details for the recording! Each girl was contracted for roughly £5 million a piece for the album and promotional apperances/performances, and the album will have TWO new songs.

Victoria was the only one to speak publicly so far, and she said her recording was done at Olympic Studios in London. The girls have all recorded their bits separately, as far as I know.

So it IS a Greatest Hits album...Well at least that's better than nothing at all. But 5 Million pounds for two new songs and the appearances sounds awfully steep. Oh well, can't say I'm not excited. They better go on tour though.

"For the first time ever, there is some truth in the [reunion] rumours. We've been discussing it and it could possibly happen. I've always said, 'I don't want to do it, the past is the past. It was amazing, it was magical. We could never recreate it. But this year people have been talking about it and some of the girls have expressed an interest in doing it. There is just so much great feeling out there and I just thought, you know what, I don't want to be the person that stops it happening or stops it being a five-piece. But there have been a lot of reunions and not all of them have worked. If the Spice Girls were to get back together it would be for a very short space of time. It would be a final goodbye and a thank you to all the fans all over the world."
- Melanie C. told radio station BBC London 94.9 this week

bondingo 22nd June 2007 06:19 AM

I'm wicked excited about this. I hope the album comes with a DVD featuring all their videos, then there's no doubt in my mind that I would buy it. They have some kick-ass videos (i.e. Spice Up Your Life, Wannabe, and Too Much).

I love that they announce the announcement! So exciting. Only a few more days to go.

I think it would be heartbreakingly funny, though, if the announcement was just "Suck it, World, leave us alone."

As much as I love funny, I hope this isn't the case.

Yes, Spice Girls videos were great. Right now I can't think of one I didn't like.

Faiza 28th June 2007 11:15 AM

They're having a press conference today, presumably to confirm a tour and greatest hits album, saw it on GMTV today xD
