Yes, the original tickets were priced at 7,800 yen. But for foreigners it is extremely difficult to get them for the original price. Even if you are a fanclub member it is difficult to get them. Originally fdjp.com tried to get fanclub tickets but were unable to. The fanclub holds a lottery and those that win in the lottery get the tickets those that don't are stuck trying to get them from resale shops.

I showed my tickets to a few Japanese beforehand and they were all like "WOAH How'd you get tickets?" So basically for the CDLs you have to be extremely lucky(ie know somebody in the fan club that won in the lottery) in order to get tickets for a good price. People were buying tickets from the resale shops in the days leading up to the concert for $600+ and then on the way to the concert I saw a couple of people holding up signs that they were still looking for tickets.

That's what I thought too... but i find it weird there is like no mention of this year's CDL in the news&information section, only in the TeamAyu area (I don't know how about previous CDLs).

Wait, so there is no other way to get CDL tickets, except than either win the ability to buy them through TA or get them from resellers? Does it mean that they only have like 30,000~ tickets overall and it all goes to the lottery, and the resellers have the tickets from people who didn't want the ones they bought for themselves?... That seriously decreases the chance to get them...

I don't think they ALL go to the lottery xDDD
No no, I'm sure it's just few lucky Team~Ayu members who can win the tickets in the lottery =)
(They propose like... ~1,000 tickets to T~A maybe ?? More ?)
The rest can be sold in some specific places, that resellers buy before the others, so they can sold them back after... I think! =)
Is it like that ?? Not sure however ...

Thanks for All the informations here about CountDown Live tickets ^.^

Yup that is pretty much it. Except it is even less than that. Yoyogi has nowhere near 30,000 seats. It only holds something like 10,000. And Ayu's fanclub is larger than that I believe.

Seriously ?? O_____O

So... If ALL the Team~Ayu winners in the lottery want to go for exemple...
The non/non-winner T~A members can't go at all ??
And there'll be no reseller for the tickets ? Wow... o_o

Thanks for this information, wasn't expecting T~A have ALL the tickets xD
I thougt they had just few for the lottery, at least I learned someting today =)

There ARE resellers for the tickets, that's how I was able to get mine, you just have to be willing to pay a lot. I think there is a very small amount of tickets that go on sale to the general public after the TA lottery, but it still is no good unless you are living in Japan already. As far as I know there is no other way to get tickets for foreigners other than resale shops. Even going through fdjp.com, all they did was go to a resale shop to buy them.

I think the whole reusing past designs is very interesting^^ I'm fine with the tracklist, not the greatest but still, nice :) Thanks for the review!

I'm so excited to see this! Free&Easy and A Song for XX are two of my favorite Ayu songs! And I don't think I've ever seen a performance of NEVER EVER.

s1012h 1st January 2007 10:55 PM

I can't wait for Free & Easy, and until that Day...

I just had this thought... maybe the stage design for this CDL is the same stage design that will be used in the Asia Tour.. seeing as its the first time Ayu has used a catwalk in a CDL.. I think she will have two different designs of stage for the tour.. the same CDL one for when she goes to Hong Kong, Taiwan etc.. and a new one for the Japan part of the tour..

ayu_fan929 2nd January 2007 12:39 AM

I think that she might not have a catwalk for the Asian tour. The Japanese stage might be the same as the CDL stage except the back middle screen will probably be different.

Larisa-chan 2nd January 2007 12:50 AM

I think that's an amazing setlist, minus Beautiful Fighters. I wish I could've been there!! Thanks for the review...

s1012h 2nd January 2007 01:55 AM

I wonder if anybody recorded it...
Did it air on Japanese television like previous CDL's?

Namie 2nd January 2007 02:13 AM

ohhh, I cant wait to see this!
