Terrible, if you see the quality of the Madame Tussaud sculptures here in London, it's amazing. Some of them look so like the original person that if you stood them side by side, you wouldnt be able to see the difference (there are quite a few pictures to prove this).

It's a shame really that this Ayu one doesnt live up to that.

Yep. I personally had a close look to the wax figure that few years ago, and it's VERY DIFFERENT compared to the first photo shown in this topic. Although it didn't look EXACTLY like Ayu, it's like a 80% match, really.

In the photo I took, the wax figure was wearing Ayumi's very own dress. Last time Ayumi had her OWN ROOM, with barriers. You have to pay like HK$80 to get in and have a closer look and a photo taken.

Now, I think they made it a "free-view" exhibit. It was still okay in the January 07 photo posted by Jeffycue.

Seems like some really tragic touch-up this time. Doesn't look like Ayumi at all. 0% match.

I actually think that it looks like the wax has melted as well. Also, people are allowed to touch the wax figure, so I think that may have affected the look of it.

I hope they can make another, with Ayu's cooperation this time! since this looked bad in the beginning.. now it seems as though the cheeks are melting.. :( eww

I thought that it was standard for Toussaud's to take measurements for celebrities. At least, for their wax museums in America, any wax figure depicting a living celebrity or personality is made after the subject sits down for hours in order to make a good figure.

I love the shoes the figure should be remade!! It's totally horrible!! They should make a better one - we Ayu fans should make a petition!!
