erm every one knows that Ayu wrote the lyrics her self right?? and Does it even bother you that perhaps some of these lyrics are linked to her life and perhaps when she was writing this song she was really sad...

I understand what you mean, and yes, I'm bothered that some people says things like "her lyrics are not deep anymore" "they are too much happy"...but when those songs were "deep", she was in pain, through a lot of suffering, thinking of retire....until she find the strength that she needed through her fans and music. If she's happy, her songs will be happy. If she's sad, her songs will be sad. I rather seeing her dancing around on an island, than having sad but good songs, knowing she is in pain. Poor Ayu...the only way I can support her is buying her music^^

Everyone goes through good and bad times. You can't help that she'll go through bad times. So when she writes lyrics that aren't as happy, of course it pains me that she had to endure the suffering that inspired the lyrics, but when I realize that it happens to everyone, I feel incredible pride in that she can transform pain into something beautiful, something that can help others.

that sounds like a very sad song... the title seems to imply that ayu and her lover cant be together lol.

I would rather say it hurts both if she releases Together When physically. This is a very wise move for avex. Knowing that a physical release of the single a month before the album WILL NOT do anything good at all. Well why not release a digital then? It won't break ayu's no. 1 streak. It can gives people a taste of what the 8th album may sound like. Also it's quite elegant to see that avex makes a cover for this digital release.

"Digital single" is just a term for the company to milk the fans. How many people really care about the ranking of the digital release? Well probly we do, but not as much as the oricon ranking. If Together When cannot top the download chart, we won't feel like it's end of the world. Everyone knows it will be on the upcoming album anywayz. BUT it's cheap to download a song rite? Many people are willing to pay 200 yen for a download instead of spending >1000 yen to buy a single (esp the album will be out very soon).
