i love the song and the pv, rarely for seeing ayu PV like this...no complaint for me
everything is very great, she looks HOT!!!

cloud♥honey 22nd December 2007 02:49 AM

The song is amazing. The PV is (WTF) amazing too. It was super simple but it fitted perfectly with the song.

ImpactBreaker 22nd December 2007 02:49 AM

LOl I loved both the song and video! Call me crazy, but I love to see a badass woman walking all arrogant like "OPMG I'm this awesome fashion model who will kick the dust out of the other girls"! and ayu pulled it perfectly! I loved it ahahha

I love the last part when she sings without instruments. Somehow that part reminded me of her older songs.

people should try to see from another perspective instead of the surface...coz Ayu isnt about surfaces....and since she wants to make an album PV, u think she would just do it because it needs an Album PV??

Unfortunately a lot (maybe most?) of the non-japanese jpop listeners/ayu fans don't give a **** about lyrical content and meanings beind PVs specially when they look tackey (like "non meaningful" but they are meaningful) and they want more fun and awesome PVs and they care mainly for the the songs sound, and there are less people like you and me who do seek meanings and enjoy it and seek it in a true artist (and I personally prefer such PVs artists rather than artists who mainly dance in their PVs and stuff like I love more a singer that is a singer more than a singer that is an entertainer but some entertainment is fine too!) ^-^

*high fives*

I think she did it because she found the PV which is directed by (don't) Leave me alone's PV director fit to the lyrical content of the song itself so she just went "let's do it, it fits to my song and looks fun!" I suppose, I definitly like that girl's attitude.

Haha, I'm feeling the same.

benslave4u 22nd December 2007 02:53 AM

Hey I feel she reuse the opening outfit for her count down live one you know the 2002 to 2003 one

Larisa-chan 22nd December 2007 02:57 AM

Haha, I'm not disappointed by the PV because I wasn't expecting anything good to come out of it. Because I had no expectations, I was actually pleasantly surprised by a few things.

It wasn't dancing the entire time! Probably less than a minute of total dancing time. That's always a plus. Walking > dancing. The choreography outside of the dancing was cool, though I have to admit I laughed at the cartwheel scenes. They should have shown more of the guitarist... and the song could have used an awesome guitar solo instead of a really muffled sound.

The song itself, of course, I really like. I love all of her rock songs. I don't think this is her best (a bit too repetitive), by it's very good. Definitely a very powerful song. I like how it ended, too~ 8/10

hiroshi_ben 22nd December 2007 02:57 AM

I'd just noticed the main attraction n feature of her outfit!which is her tie!

whenever she lose to a gal,the color of ayu's tie will change to that winner's color outfit...and lastly it turned black

minna 22nd December 2007 02:58 AM

haven't seen the PV yet because I'm wainting for it to be on youtube
I downloaded the PV rip though
and I love the song, very addicting

AyUta 22nd December 2007 03:01 AM

I just watched it and it was lame >.>;
Ayu REALLY needs to get rid of Takahide, the director. He makes such stupid videos >.<; Born to be... was horrible xD And this video...I think they could have done better than that. I mean, for one, it was just dancing, walking too, but mostly just dancing and nothing special. Ayu looked cute as always but neh, I didn't like it. Plus you can tell that she was trying to be a bit sexy O.o; NOT Ayu, definitely not xD The outfit was tacky xD Plus the women that were dancing and doing cartwheels or whatever they were doing, no, nuh-uh xD It was stupid :] The only positive thing was that Ayu looked cute, that's all. The tie was wannabe-ish.

But I definitely liked the song though, maybe just a little too repetitive, but I like it.
*Putting in my MP3 xD*

this was some bad stuff
but i'm confident that Marionette will blow me away

stickyrice 22nd December 2007 03:04 AM

after watching it again - I'm starting to like it. like ImpactBreaker, take away the simple fact that it's a walk and dance video and you got yourself a sassy attitude diva girl workin her stuff. It's definately hot ;) but that's just my opinion.

s1012h 22nd December 2007 03:06 AM

the whole tunnel thing was cool
but just the whole product turned out sour

the outfit is at the same level as the one in Ladies Night in its uglyness

honey, you wouldnt understand the lyrics unless someone translate them for you, in my case i do understand the lyrics (well most of it) and lemme tell you something about real artists, there are alot, and ayu sadly is not the most talented real artist out there, if you look for meaningful deep and poetic lyrics try other artist , unless your definition of meaningful is the rough way ayu write her lyrics( the lyrics are not bad whatsoever, but there are better writers than ayu) , well not rought, just straight-forward, which i think is really tacky, if i'm looking for a real artist i want more than just simple words, i want poetry in it :).
and believe me, i've seen real meaningful PV's with a deep conection to the lyrics, in ayu's case, sorry, i dont find it :X

pop909 22nd December 2007 03:08 AM

The song itself is really good. I like it more than mirror.

HOWEVER

The PV isnt as great. I like the light blue colors. What i dont like is the endless walking and Britney-esque dancing :P. There should have been alot more dancing and camera movement. I think what could have improved it is if the backup dancers were in the air instead like they were spieder-woman on the walls. And Ayumi would be more ...feared. :D

Anyways

Song= 4/5

Pv= 2/5

Marionette soudns much more interesting to me so ill be waiting for that :D

s1012h 22nd December 2007 03:10 AM

ayu's just not a dancer in my eyes

Where did I write that ayu's the best lyricist in the world?
I find Myself, enjoy ayu's lyrics and I find them really good and enough poetic for me to love (and I do read all translations), (even Max found ayu's lyrics really good lol and I think he understands that department more).

and So? If you look on a PV from your point of view, it doesn't mean everybody does look at that PV the same for you it can be not meaningful, for others it can the whole thing is pretty subjective. You can think that the lyrics are crap, and others don't.

Beauty4123 22nd December 2007 03:18 AM

FINALLY got to hear the song and watch the PV, lol. the song is better than the video. the video wasn't bad, but it didn't really have much going on and stuff. but i liked ayu's outfit, but her dancers had a bit too much makeup on too, lol. anyway, the song itself is great, the PV is okay, basically.

i think you are just trying to justify a meaning in this pv. when i think, there is not, which is ok, but i think ayu had plenty of those videos, and honeslty, its getting a little old , dont you think? :innocent
