Eeeh, I have to say. Having the documentary in between the live footage is pretty lame.
I hope there's an option to turn it off.
I don't understand why they couldn't have put it on a seperate disc, as always.

Meh.

Thanks for posting.
I like the new layout.

Hmm, I wonder what is up with putting the documentaries in between....

Ayumiko 1st March 2008 08:11 PM

I don't like the idea of putting the documentary in between the performances. There better be a option to turn it off!! :grumpy...I want to watch the documentary as a whole!

~Amy~ 1st March 2008 08:16 PM

lol You guys are worried about the documentaries being in the middle I'm still trying to figure out why in the hell she opened up with "Evolution" why not a new song on the Secret album... X_________x

CHE.R.RY 1st March 2008 08:33 PM

That tour took a long time to be released...O.O
But nice layout either way.

Most artists who do it like this have a "SONG ONLY" option.

And judging from this, it seems like all the extras we're used to will be in the documentary itself PLUS more.

You would have to be an idiot to think that they would not allow you to watch them separately [then again, the editing team on the 2002 DVDs SUCKED, but since then they've been good about it. I own two ELT tours that do this, and they split the tour with the documentary. It works very well and you can choose an option to just watch the concert.]

Chandrachan 1st March 2008 08:45 PM

I like the flash intro!!
I so wanna see Ayu live!! ^^

if that really so, i wonder why they bother to insert the documentary btw the performances?

we can always watch it after the concert.

or they are trying to force us to watch the documentary by inserting them into the performances?

It seems that they want to show the evolution of the tour through the documentary DURING the concert? Because in ST02 and AT02, there was no intention of a documentary... as it was more of a backstage "LOL LOOK" kind of thing. This time there is commentary from Ayu and so on..

I think Ayu fans have been spoiled with a "special" disc full of "omg amazing" stuff..

Although I do think that we will get all the same extras that we usually get. I wish they just did a 3DVD with this same format with the last DVD containing all the special images and stuff.

I wonder why it took so long to do this, since some other people who do the same take like ages less..

ripped the CM for anyone that wants to dl it

click ^-^

Tasked 1st March 2008 09:16 PM

I really wanna watch the concert without interruption. If this is going to be as we think; then OMG that's dreaful! you don't wanna see a movie and click 'next scene' at the end of each scene, right?

jon_the_d 1st March 2008 09:23 PM

hmm.from what people have said it seems likely their will be a concert only option.

besides, you can always make aplaylist of either just the songs, or just the docs....shouldn't be a problem.

Pre ordered mine already, but need to wait for it to be shipped half way round the world on a donkey or something...

Basically there's a LIVE+DOCUMENTARY set of chapters on one disc and a LIVE ONLY set of chapters.

It's possible to watch the concert uninterrupted like a normal concert DVD. It's just that this time it's not divided by LIVE/MC/ENCORE as usual..

Rody, what on earth are you talking about? XD

Aga-chan 1st March 2008 09:33 PM

As I already wrote, maybe there's like a "second angle" option? Something like that during the concert a little "A" sign pops up at a corner and then you can either press a bottom to watch the documentary or continue watching the concert without interruption.

All we can do now is wait and see...

No, actually no one really uses the angles anymore. :/

From what I've seen with previous LIVE+DOCUMENTARY styled DVDs, it's all simply either LIVE+DOCUMENTARY [where you can skip the songs to get the documentary by pressing next] and LIVE ONLY which is exactly what it says, the live only. After all I do kinda own two tour DVDs that are set up just like this. However they only have like 6-7 documentary segments between 3-4 songs. They're even titled the same. Every Little Thing Many Pieces tour 2003 LIVE+DOCUMENTARY and Every Little Thing commonplace tour 2004-2005 LIVE+DOCUMENTARY.

There's no need to use the 2nd angle option unless they wanted to show backstage footage during a song, which is NOT the case of the documentary [in which it is 1000+ hours of random offshot footage from the overseas stops and the Japanese stops... not just backstage footage]

dayumi 1st March 2008 09:49 PM

so there is no "Memorial address," "JEWEL," "momentum," and "flower garden" performance? :(

letthemeatcake 1st March 2008 09:50 PM

They're not in the main setlist because.. that wouldn't fit.

They're in the documentary, so don't worry about it.

This DVD set contains exceptionally rare footage never seen in past tour DVDs that filmed only the final concert. It includes such precious moments as the wild reception of ayumi's Asian fans and songs performed at only a few stops during the tour ("Memorial address," "JEWEL," "momentum," and "flower garden")
Please, stop worrying about it and just be glad that she's releasing it. D=

One of the VERY good things about this sort of thing is that we will likely get the SPECIAL SCREENS as well as video of the making of the SPECIAL SCREENS. :D
