The fact that A BEST 2 had the impact without anything but her face is amazing. It shows the work of a true model.

^agree!! and the best thing is that the thing that differentiated BLACK and WHITE A BEST 2 is the background. not anything done to the face.

i like it a lot. actually its kinda expected tat ayu will do some kind of up close shot for GOLD and SILVER ever since she did it for BLACK and WHITE..

You know, I really like them both, especially the gold one. They are both simple and to the point.

like the gold, silver the pattern is abit over... actually if all without pattern r nicer... is like wasted ayu beautiful face... but i like the gold colour tone...

Which was probably the reason of the covers anyway. "This is GOLD, this is SILVER, that's it. I don't care if you don't like it, it's what it is."

Most people in Japan would probably be attracted to it because it's so busy and shiny. Ahaha. I know I'm attracted by busy, shiny things.

They were strange at first but now I think they're nice.
Not the best they could be but not the worse either.

I don't think ayu looks goods in those head shots (A Best 2, Ayumix6), specially when we don't see any hair..

People seem to praise them so much, I don't see what the fuss is about. Ok, that pink Asian themed one is pretty, but the rest are really nothing special. Most of them are headshots, yet people complain these are headshots.. hmm.

Most other ayu-mi-x covers are really quite good. This one seemed to have gotten the short end of the stick in terms of design [like, the ayu-mi-x III covers with the cat/butterfly were like... this remix album's done well XD]

The ayu-mi-x II covers were pretty boring to me, her with a stripy background.. Then there was those computer ones where she's in space and in some electronic helmet, they were pretty cool. She looked pretty odd in the ayu-mi-x 5 cover tho.

I really don't think these look THAT fanmade, the skintone looks real, like she's painted with black stuff (maybe she was), and you can see her skin texture through the pattern on her face. With the avex graphic artists, it could've been so much worse.

Those first ayu-mix covers were so much better than these covers. I don't mean to rain on everyones parade, but Ayu is really bad looking when she has her hair all slicked back and she puts on those emotionless expressions. I honestly doubt she was painted with anything... the covers position look like A BEST II covers that didn't make it and were photoshopped. xD
