I always thought that in one part of evolution, she was saying "kono hoshi ni umare thank you instead of "kono hoshi ni umare tsuita hi" (O_o) NO clue where that came from :laugh

^LOL XDDDDDDD

I did a few times.
In Microphone, "I don't know, I don't know, I want what you are" (wtf)
In And Then, "Mamoru beki" I understood "Vamonos de aquí" (let's get out of here in spanish)
And sure more that I can't remember now.

"watashi no ai ni, ai ni..."

but she says ID, ID.... xD

gallowsCalibrator 27th April 2010 05:52 PM

Oh these are so funny! : D
In Depend on You I always and always hear it like this:

Right: anata ga moshi tabidatsu
Wrong:anata ga moshi Pikachu

And yes, I am actually a die-hard Pokémon-fan, so you can guess why I always hear it like that XD~

when i first heard "TO BE" (it was 1999 and i was still young & dumb), i swear that last prechorus line that says "torimodoshita tokoro de kitto bimyou ni chigatte iru hazu de", i thought she said "to be" there (where i bolded). :P if you listen to it, it really sounds like it, but of course, i understand what she says now, so i can't imagine it being "to be", lol.

Ayumi78 21st September 2010 03:42 PM

I always heard in Heartplace ,,Do you pray" instead of ,,We're free"
Too bad...

neuteka 22nd September 2010 12:24 AM

to be more specific than my post that was 2 years ago, I thought:
Real me: "In all that you can find"-> " In order to survive"
WE WISH: "Reeeeealeeease" -> "Weeeee Wiiiish"
LOL

gallowsCalibrator 22nd September 2010 01:06 AM

I hear this in Trauma...

Real: konna mainichi

Misheard: Climb the money tree :dead2

Lol I hear things weird :laugh

it's just "beautiful fighters" remixed and reversed, and edited and stuff over and over.

For some reason in Rule, I always hear "the modern day rule" at this particular line: Okimari na tsumannai Rule. It's the way she says it lol.

And in Heartplace, I had no idea she was singing the chorus is English. All I heard was: weeeearggghheeee tomeki ee de I still can't make out the English words in Over though I love the song. :roflmao

Hey! I heard that too xD

^ In alterna I hear "Sheets of cotton" for "Yutori janaku shoushitsu kan."

Also, in Sparkle, I hear "boneless touchdown" when she sings "Kawaii boys tachi to." :freak I knew it couldn't be that.

HEY! I can't find them right now, but has anyone ever seen the "as heard" subtitles on Youtube? I saw one for Utada's "Keep Tryin'" and "Wait and See," and they were both extremely hilarious. For instance, when the plane flies overhead in KT she sings, "Hoshii no," and the person subtitled it "Oh *****, NEATO!" :roflmao

When i listened to Real Me for the first time, I had to google the lyrics (I knew she wasn't singing in japanese!), and her latest song, SEVEN DAYS WAR, I hear "Seven Days Ovar, get pace to leave.."
