KAT-TUN’s new song sounds like Vocaloid song?

Word is spreading around Twitter that a song released by KAT-TUN last week sounds the same to a popular vocaloid creator’s song which was released in February, reports IT media today.

The song in question is the coupling song to KAT-TUN’s latest single “CHANGE UR WORLD”, “NEVER x OVER ~ 「-」IS YOUR PART”, and voice synthesizer Vocaloid LUKA MEGURINE’s “DYE”.

It has been reported “DYE” creator AVTechNO! has already released the song as a CD and it has been on sale on online stores such as Amazon and iTunes.

AVTechNO! has already blogged about the KAT-TUN song, saying he was shocked at the similarities. The post has already received hundreds of comments from fans of LUKA MEGURINE in support of AVTechNO!

Akanishi Jin signs with Warner Music Japan

Just recently, the President of Warner Music Asia Pacific and Chairman & CEO of Warner Music Japan, Lachie Rutherford, announced that Akanishi Jin will be signing on with the company, as they will be handling his recording career going forward.

Jin Akanishi to make US debut in spring 2011

Johnny’s star Jin Akanishi (26) will make his US debut as JIN AKANISHI under Warner Music next spring, it was announced at a press conference in Tokyo today, reports Oricon, and Web The Television.

It has been reported that before a crowd of 200 or so press, Akanishi had made a statement in English saying he hopes people would look forward to watching his upcoming performances and songs as he, a Japanese singer, sets off to entertain a larger audience.

The singer had gotten a global contract with Warner Music Group, which starts today, who will be supporting Akanishi as he works between the United States and Asia.

“It’s today. Today. I’m feeling nervous being here.

“So many things were happening so fast (in the meetings leading up to the contract) that I didn’t have time to get excited every time. It hasn’t sunken into me yet.

“I was told about the contract after my LA concert around the end of June. I was really happy, but then I immediately thought, ‘I have to start writing songs!”,” he said.

It has been reported Akanishi said even though he had been signed to one of the world’s largest record labels, he still had the same aspirations as when he had embarked on his tour last month.

“I was just doing what I wanted to do and this is where I ended up. I think I’ll go into it having fun like I always do,” he said.

Akanishi had also talked about last month’s 5-city US tour.

“It was greater than I had ever imagined. And it was fun.

“During my tour I went to meet people at the Warner office and invited a number of them to my concert. I thought it would be great if five of them came, but nearly everyone I had invited came to see me so I was really happy,” he said.

It has been reported Akanishi thanked his fans in Japan ahead of the Japan leg of his concert tour “Yellow Gold Tour 3010″.

“I get a lot of power from hearing the cheers from my fans in Japan. I just really want to say thank you. I wanted to tell all of you about this contract as soon as possible,” he said.

Akanishi’s US Tour has been reported to have attracted 15,000 fans, and is estimated to attract more than 100,000 fans in Japan during his Tokyo and Osaka concerts in January 2011.

KAT-TUN’s Kamenashi Kazuya performs new song “Plastic Tears” on “The Shonen Club”

KAT-TUN member, Kamenashi Kazuya made an appearance on the December 10th edition of “The Shonen Club.” During the show, he was asked by the hosts, Koyama Keiichiro (NEWS), and Nakamaru Yuichi (KAT-TUN), about his ideal Christmas. Kamenashi stated that he wanted to go somewhere with a lot of snow, and eat 100 pieces of chickens while looking at a snowman outside.

Moreover, he performed a new song “Plastic Tears” which was prepared for this show as a Christmas present for fans!

I wonder why Kame is not in any Winter drama that's coming up. First time for a long time now. And TTUN are also nowhere to be seen on the whole drama front. To be honest, even though they release good music I'm slowly loosing interest in them. I hope the Countdown will change that. We'll see.

What I heard from that short low quality rip of ULTIMATE WHEELS from the Countdown sounds really good. Looking forward ro another great KAT-TUN single. I just realized that one year ago I thought the same thing for The D-Motion. :D

KAT-TUN announces a big live event + first 5 Dome tour + new album!

It’s been announced that KAT-TUN will be holding a live event at “Higashiougijima Higashi Park,” located inside of “Higashiougijima (artificial island)” in Kawasaki port in July. The park is directly across from the “Kombinat” (a big industrial complex) in Kawasaki City, so the atmosphere is sure to be unique.

According to Johnny’s Entertainment, they plan to have a parade during the event, and you are allowed to bring your dogs with you. JE stated that they want to make the event like a summer festival.

The actual date is still under consideration, but it will be a 2~3 day event sometime in the middle of July, and it is assumed to pull in an audience of 20,000 per a day. Member, Nakamaru Yuichi said, “It will be the biggest event for KAT-TUN!”

KAT-TUN will also hold their first 5 Dome tour during May ~ October to celebrate their 5th year anniversary. In addition, they will also release a new album before their Dome tour.

KAT-TUN Holding First Performance in Industrial Area and Schedule 5-Dome-Tour!

On January 5th it has been learned that KAT-TUN will be holding their first open-air live performance in an industrial area, right with their first 5-big-dome tour throughout the country.

This schedule is created in accordance with their fifth anniversary, in which they would like to celebrate with the spirit of trying things for the first time. Also, the performance in an industrial area had been decided upon the conclusion that it would fit the image of the group well and the unprecedented event will be held in Kawasaki Higashiougijima Higashi Park, close to Tokyo's Haneda International Airport.

The area can hold about 20,000 people for the event.

Moreover, KAT-TUN will be the 4th band within Johnny's to hold a tour leading through five large domes after SMAP, Kinki Kids and Arashi.

"Since this is the year of our 5th anniversary, I would be happy if I can share this time with even more people", Kamenashi Kazuya said regarding the event.

I just watched the World Tour 2010 DVD. The thing that made an lasting impression on me were those horses. I felt absolutely horrified for them. Any horse owner here? I mean, being in a Dome with screaming people, loud basses, weird lights and stuff...it just seems wrong! I know there are horses that can be trained for parades and so...but this, I don't know I just didn't think it was necessary. Poor horses. Other than that I was laughing all through Kames Vampire story, I know it was meant to be sexy but for me it was just LOL!
