Nice try, but it's only mid-day sales - it's only afternoon, and we still have the evening to come, and I think maybe that's the time when more fans are coming to record stores to buy Ayu's singles and support her and continue her #1 streak - if she gets #1 this week, then she would be one away from tying Seiko Matsuda's record - and remember that we also have to count in pre-order sales (such as sales from YesAsia and CDJapan)...

3,000 might think that's very low, but if it's mid-day sales, then it's just the beginning - usually at that time people don't buy music releases because most of the people are still working.

I thought it was the actual sales at first and that's why I was shocked at first glance. I'm not that stupid not to read the rest of people's posts, hence why I saw the "mid-day" part.

I'm quite certain ayumi's able to outsell everyone since the mid day sales for the 1st day , she's already about 3-4:1 , ratio wise

And I dun really feel that much from the preview of crossword. It doesn't really sound like songs like Replace/winding road (and I dun really like them anywayz). It does remind me of For My Dear... though. It's not about the melody, but it's the same feeling. The first time I heard FMD I thought it was very ugly, high pitch, bad melody blah blah. But I tried to watch the whole video once and actually found the song not too bad even though her singing skill still sucked at that time. I have no idea how this feeling will be back when I listen to the crossword preview tho..

Does it seem kind of strange that she's doing these 3 releases as a project? Couldn't she just have worked her way up to the big 50th slowly? I hope she's going to surprise us with something new like a mini-album of some sort.

She's trying to play "slow" there - I think she's trying to keep at a pace that she would release her 50th single at the busiest time - those so-called "end-of-the-year" music festivals and specials, such as the FNS Music Festival, NTV Best Artist, TV Asahi's Music Station Super Live, and the NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen...

I hope the 49th gets more promotion and the 50th better have massive promotion! I really missed the magazines and TV lives for this one :( There could have been some awesome MOON lives, since she seems to do pretty well singing that song live from the RnRC tour fancams.

That makes sense....then I hope the 50th is something cool again like Rule cause her opening for Kouhaku last year was :heart

I just bought 2 copies of the single =) So +2 there for the rest of the day's sales.. Also I removed the promotional sticker from the CD and put it on the wall of the McDonald's in Harajuku.. SO maybe now more ppl will buy ;)

Again.. the 50th single will be released before or during the 7 days special concerts in october~ they stated that she will sing the new songs from 48th, 49th and 50th single there... so 50th won't be released in December... though it would be better for sales maybe... xD

she can always release the 50th single after and still sing the new songs during the concert like MOON...it'll be like a special preview.

The concert was originally meant to be like a 50th single celebration, but I think CDL has that honor now, haha.

Hmm, I don't know about real physical CD sales, but I'm not very worried about her. I'm sure she sold tons and tons during preorder times, maybe even enough to secure her streak already, hence avex's lack of promotion. I mean, why spend more $$ when you've already got something? ;)

Hmm, that's a special version of M/b that they're only selling at live venues. There are 2 sets that you can buy, the top one is the RnRC live version, where you get an extra RnRC poster. And the bottom one is the normal version, which is just the CD. The first one costs 1,000yen, the second 800yen.

The photo on the left is the cover design, and the smaller picture is the design of a folded poster thing that is inside.

And as another member has already pointed out, there are only 2 songs on the CD, MOON and blossom. No instrus or remixes here, so I guess people will only buy it for collection's sake, or for the RnRC poster.

^But doesn't it say that it will also be available on mu-mo? Starting tomorrow? I'd love to have one!

Yep, mu-mo will start sales 6pm today, which is about 15 hours more from now. But apparently there's only a limited number avail, so those who want it better get ready to buy it right when it comes out. ;)

Yeah, I think it's set in stone too~ I mean, Ayu probably has to get all these singles done and out of the way if she is going to find time to rehearse the 7 day special too~ Even though it might just be the same tracklist from AT10, there's still new songs from the singles they have to add in, plus new costumes... So I think Ayu is really going to work even harder than she already is (if that's even possible :weep) to get these singles out in consecutive months~
