I think it's pretty obvious that she is going to stylize the L. look at the single covers, and the fonts for &, M, H, and A. They are all pretty cool looking. I doubt the new single will look like this.

I actually wouldn't mind an ayu-less cover. She doesn't need to be featured on every single cover she releases. To this day she doesn't have a single cover that doesn't feature her on it. (standard singles/albums) I just hope the L isn't in Old English Text, then it'll make me think of L from Death Note. Because he always stylized his L like that. XD

i think crossroad (the song) might turn out really differently towards the end of the song...maybe something like HEAVEN's style of progression. i dunno.

and hopefully L is packed with a upbeat track, ballad, and rock track to round it off. are they 3 or 4 songs?

I think it's just going to be like Sunset ~LOVE is ALL~. Not really sound like it.. but just be one of those slower ballads that don't have anything "epic" going on so people are going to bash it like there's no tomorrow. I'll probably end up liking it though.

I still think it has that winding road feel. With less pop maybe. Like I still see it as a potential encore/ending song. But that's also why I wish someone could interpret the lyrics from the preview to see what direction its going in lyrically.

I will appreciate L single with: epic pop song (im quite boring with this, something like STEP you or Startin') + unique ballad (not the standards, i though about something like theme of a'nation, Will or any unique sound ballad, maybe Hanabi. I just want something not so in her lately emotional standard like You were..., MOON, Days, meaning of Love, Sunset...) + something unexpected (it could be even rock song, as long it would be nothing like the latest rock songs :D) I don't want any medium tempo style... We had blossom (and it rocked my socks) and Red Line lately... and croosroad seems that type of song.

@ALPHY: Well, it's been just over 24 hours since we found out about the single lol. We'll probably get a tracklisting in the next couple of weeks and then the covers for both crossroad and L at the end of the month/beginning of September.

He also said you could consider it a 'Who...' part 2, if that strikes a chord with anyone (though is doesn't particularly for me lol, I was hoping for something more like HEAVEN <33). 9 times out of 10 though, a Kikuchi composition will amazing so I'm not worried.

^I think its 3-A side + 3 instrumentals in both CD+DVD versions, and 3-a sides + Crossroad (orchestra in CDonly1 / acoustic in CDonly2) + 3 instrumentals =) It's written in the translation by Misa-chan that there will be this orchestra/acoustic versions of Crossroad.

ugh my god, acoustic orchestra versions of fated, green, days, sunset, last links, and now we're getting them for crossroad, blossom, and moon. Just release another acoustic orchestra album again. -_- I'd rather just have one full album of them, because they're so good, than spread across every other single filling up space that could be used for potential remixes, or b-sides.

I think ballads are better suited for acoustic and orchestra remixes, while ballads AND upbeat tracks can be remixed any other way.
