VS was a good song and probably the only one I like by misono. But I also really liked Faraway, released when she was the vocalist for Day After Tomorrow. The dirt devils remix was sooooooooo good.

She has some really other good songs like her cover of TOMORROW, SPEEDRIVE, pinkies, Kojin Jugyo, Zasetsu Chiten (my personal favorite), Ninin Sankyaku, Oiji-Chankko Obaa-shankko Hinatabokko, Juunin Toiro, Joker, Balance: A Strong Me x A Weak You (song from It's All Love), Watashi Iro, & Bokura Style. Her day after tomorrow stuff was okay, I found most of the songs kinda boring.

Other than that, I cannot deal with her songs. Like the one in the It's All Love! single..OH GOD. I can't go more than 5 seconds in that song before I feel like my eardrums are bleeding.

and i think we get the album announcement during FANTASIA concert!

For the 50th Single...
i think it would be great to end her anniversary with it, BUT i think it would work much better as her new 4 A-Side Summer Single with 4 PV's and special package around June 2011!!

Billboard live looks amazing!
And it isn't age limited, that's new to me. o.O
You had to collect the appilcation cards with Suki de and the UNIVERS tour as far as I know.

I wonder if DMP being broadcasted in full and in 3D was enough to make people not want to buy the Tour DVD. I would've probably DVRed it and had it for free!

Eternity is doing pretty good. I'd like it to sell more though because of how fantastic it is. I like it a lot more than her last 2 original albums. the album showed maturity that I was really missing from her. I'm hoping the album tracks to her next album have more of a mature feel too. oh how much I'd love an original kumi song that sounds like "小さな恋のうた" :heart

HUGE FAVOR: Did anyone save the images the someone uploaded from kumiloves of Kuu from Leslie Kee's SUPERSTARS and if you did can you PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE upload them for me? I tried loading them from the site directly but the images keep corrupting.

I totally agree with this statement. I hope her next original album incorporates some of the touches and the general feel of ETERNITY. It's a great mix of R&B, pop, and ballads. I hope she takes some of those elements and continues with them!

yeah! altogether, Eternity just worked as an album. everything fit perfectly. there's not a song on there that I find bad or annoying and her vocals are the best they've sounded in years. the type of music on that album is the type of music I think she should stick with. even the cute sounding song of the album "SWEET MEMORIES" brings a lot more to the listener than something like "lick me" or "superstar". it's this type of mature sound that made me fall for her, with songs like "Sweet love..." where they're cute but mature at the same time and fit with her voice.

Songs like Lick me and SUPERSTAR just seem to be sung in a way that's so not Kumi. She has a deeper, more powerful voice and songs like that should just not be sung by her. She has plenty of songs that are just as "cutie" but the way she sang them was just so much more fitting. that's what I think too. the voice that she sings those songs in does not sound like her, same with Inside fishbowl. I think it's nice when an artist doesn't sing the exact same way every time.. but when they sing in a way that makes them sound worse than they normally would or like a different person, I can't really appreciate that. I agree about her putting her own touch to everything on Eternity too. I listened to the originals and honestly I didn't like any of them. I think kumi upgraded them all, especially misono's song. :yes

I can understand why some people would like the originals better if that's what they're used to, but I listened to Kumi's previews before listening to the originals and I also thought she upgraded them all. Yes, different singing styles are definitely good, but everyone has a range and when you go out of it... it's just not good.

No, I totally love Kumi's cute high-pitched voice! She can pull off both voices depending on the songs. I actually perfer the higher pitch like in BE MY BABY when she screams - so hot! But I love Kumi's cutesy Lady Go!!, Good Day, Lick Me, SUPERSTAR voices!

i agree! i love how versatile and unique her voice is, it sounds great in any octave.

i love her voice the most in her ballads, i like the deep voice ballads (eternity) and her higher pitched (ai no kotoba, anytime)

yeah! altogether, Eternity just worked as an album. everything fit perfectly. there's not a song on there that I find bad or annoying and her vocals are the best they've sounded in years. the type of music on that album is the type of music I think she should stick with. even the cute sounding song of the album "SWEET MEMORIES" brings a lot more to the listener than something like "lick me" or "superstar". it's this type of mature sound that made me fall for her, with songs like "Sweet love..." where they're cute but mature at the same time and fit with her voice.

I totally agree! I was truly blown away by this album. I love this album so much I have dreams with the songs as background music. I wake up singing Ienai yo almost every day. Not to mention jam sessions in my car on my way to school. xD; I am crazy for this album and for the first time in soooooooooooo long I am crazy for Kuu music again!

I knew she was capable of this level of quality with her music and she finally proved me correct! My only hope is that she continues with this quality for her next original album! I already can NOT wait!!!! :D

I love all her voices! I think they each show off different parts of her character in such a simple, but sincere way.

I like her to keep her quality level up with her vocals, but I dont want her sultry voice in the cutesy songs lol it would sound weird. And I dont want her cutesy songs to go away either...cause...thats who she is lol

Besides, I love the crazy cute little things she does with her higher pitched vocals lol like when she says "lick my lollipop" lol I so can not do the "lo-llipop" thing she does lol

Her vocals on Eternity were just amazing though. I feel like she's been getting better and better with them every year, and right now, she's just a top performer. It's great.


I feel like even though this isn't a peak in her popularity or sales, it sure is for her performance level.

That scandal... :< It happened during the year I became totally obsessed with her. :( It's so sad that she said something that was true and everyone hates her because of some stuff she didn't mean to say in that way she said it. I know some people who said that the hatred she got on herself was right thing for her to happen. And I gotta say they were Ayu stans lol. So rude. So damn rude lol. :/

I think situations like that are really painful when you go through them, we all saw how sad sad and upset Kuu became during that scandal. I remember seeing her doing a public apology on a TV show and she just looked so terribly sad, I just wanted to hug her. :(

I'm kind of going through something right now where I'm learning who my true friends are, at the end I know it will be worth it but right now I just wanna hit some people. :thud
