Tuesday...? I work for Starbucks and we have a memo stating we CAN'T sell the album prior to May 23 which is tomorrow and I find SO odd that Starbucks is selling Lady GaGa cds... oh yea apparently GaGa and Sbux has a special promo...and we'll be playing her new album from 3pm to 5pm starting tomorrow till Wednesday.

I mean Sbux is all about indies and jazz/country and REALLY rare to play mainstream pop and not to mention GaGa so that's a plus

So Gaga is going to be in the Leslie Kee photobook!!! I know she's going to take some interesting photos~ I'm so excited to see them.

Finally listening to the new album. I'm really really enjoying, I like so much more than "The Fame". I love how layered all the sounds are, it sorta makes you want to listen to the songs over and over again just to figure out what sounds are on there. :) I love the sound of the album! Just my type of music :D

I don't have many western (American) CDs, but they either have no lyrics included in the booklet or they have that boring, run-on paragraph looking set up. I like it broken up into sections.

I'm listening to this album now. I'm surprised how different and dancy, very unlike her previous albums imo. I like this different Gaga very much. :) I also get the 80s vibe on some of the songs like Fashion Of His Love for example. And I also think that the covers are still ugly, but the booklet is gorgeus. <3

I haven't listened to the album through but from the new songs I've already loved Bloody Mary, Government Hooker and Bad Kids. :)

EDIT: OMG WHAT THE HELL!? I think my CD is defective or something :/ When it gets near to the end of You and I, it starts skipping and crap. And when I originally ripped it, it kept playing into The Edge of Glory with that skipping noise. And The Edge of Glory sounds wonky too!! So I put the CD into the computer again and deleted my original rip and listened to You and I and it still had that weird noise, but The Edge of Glory was playing (but had that skipping noise too). It's only those two tracks. Yet when I played the CD in the car, it was perfectly fine. What the hell is going on!? This can't be happening ya'll! What should I do?

EDIT2: Um now it works lol. Strange...

EDIT3: So it worked in my queue on iTunes, but when I put it into my iTunes, it did it again...should I just go to Best Buy and talk with them? Or will that not work since I already opened the CD? This sucks man xD

EDIT4: Yep, it's really defective...I'm just gonna talk to Best Buy tomorrow. I hope something can be done about this.

I'm so listening to this album today as much as I can before I gotta go *__* I'm listening to it through for the second time now (I had no time yesterday for that which is a shame) and I think this album sounds better the more you listen to it. <3

If it's defective they should replace it. I had a defective album before and they gave me a new one.

i guess I was expecting too much. after playing the whole album, I guess it's the weakest album. I only like 4 singles tracks. the rest is just really weird and I force myself to like those songs but I cant.

I'm not bored with this album yet at all.

But I wonder what that german/french mixed lyrics of Scheibe really mean. I only understood three words. xD

I like about 6 songs, they're the only ones I listen to. Not sure what the rest of the titles even are LOL.

I like 12 of the 14 songs on the standard edition. The only two I'm not feeling are Bad Kids and Electric Chapel but, I mean, I don't really dislike either one of those.

I haven't heard the bonus tracks and I'm not really trying to at the moment. I'm still loving all the regular edition tracks!

I agree :luv2! I think the only song I'm still 'meh' with is Black Jesus † Amen Fashion...I'm starting to appreciate BTW more now that I've come to love the country road version :yes. I even am starting to think The Queen is sweet sounding :).

The rest is alright, so that gives 6 tracks I love. Very good for one album! I usually love about 3 ~ 6 songs on one album so yeah, I'm definitely happy. I wasn't expecting to love every song anyway.

I actually enjoy all the tracks lol. Whenever my friends and I discuss the album, I usually end up saying all of them are my favorite tracks (with the exception of You and I).

her vocals were REALLY great tonight, though the lighting was so dark blue I couldnt really tell what the dancers were doing or what the set was like..
She fell off the edge which was SO COOL....

I just found out that my deluxe special copy of Born This Way has 2 misprints.

On the back cover, the cross between Black Jesus and Amen Fashion, it has slipped to the right (the right side of the cross is on the A of Amen, not in between)

On the page where the lyrics for Marry the Night and Born This Way are, the red writing for Marry the Night is NOT there. It has the lyrics, but unlike every other lyrics in the booklet where the title and song number is in front of the lyrics, there is no song name or track number.

Should I take it back and get a new copy or keep the CD with the misprints?

This is a known issue with some pressings of the album, but I thought only the Australian print run was affected. Perhaps the UK copies are wonky too? My (North American) copy does not have these misprints.

I am obsessed with Americano at the moment. That song is honestly flawless (to me anyway lmao)

^ my only problem with it is that it doesn't sound as epic as the live versions! I hope it gets released as a single so we get proper full performance recordings.
