POP DIVA grew on me tremendously so I wouldn't really mind another song like it.

From what I've learned from Kuu, I never expect her releases to be ero-kakkoii anymore, otherwise I'd frequently be much disappointed :innocent But I confess I'm diyng for some ero-kakkoii on this single, it's her 50th single after all, it'd be great if she went through her roots and past styles (:

She mentioned in Koda Reki that she doesn't want to be sexy by showing off a lot of skin anymore, but be sexy by covering certain parts; letting you 'imagine' the rest. (It's difficult to explain >.>)

That's her new ero-kakkoii. She wants to keep the ero-kakkoii, but not in the way some fans might be wishing for.

^ I remember.. on saturday's show she jokingly said something like this:
"wow, there are a lot of Oko-chama (little kids) today. It seems like you want to be the next Koda Kumi. But please minus the ero-kakkoi part. I'm sorry parents" (laugh)

Kuu is still ero-kakkoii, just remember her dance routine in UNIVERSE tour for ECSTASY or Lollipop PV and dance routine. It's not her main theme anymore,she's switching, but it's still the same, except she's covering a bit more.
I actually don't know what you are all wishing for, for me those examples are enough ero-kakkoii, lol.

I've learned to like the "new ero-kakkoii" (don't know how to name it so.. XD), if I was here to answer few years ago I would had said I want it back, but she has shown how new ero-kakkoii works with her new style and I really like it a lot. :) She has shown she don't have to take her clothes off to look sexy and cool, which is great. <3

I'm a huge fan of her ero-kakkoi days but I respect her to take this decision, i prefer that rather than artists like Madonna who still act like teens sl*t while they turn to have +50 y.o.

Kumi knows her age. In Japan, passed 25 yo, women are considered as "mature" and being half naked & doing dirty stuff with bottle wouldn't give a good image of her anymore and people probably wouldn't respect her. That's probably why she decided to review her image in 2006.
Kumi is still sexy but in a mature way. Her dance routine for BUT, FREAKY, TABOO, ECSTASY, BMB or Lollipop were all fierce & sexy.
I guess Kumi's current image totally fits with the image of her that she wants to show : a strong woman who can be sexy without doing too much.

Now, if she could also understand her overrated cute attitude is as embarassing for her age as her trashy attitude XD

Ero-kakkoii is more attitude than just be naked. I really love both worlds (the old and the new one) and she's getting more and more mature, and this is great to me.

I just want back the ero-kakkoi songs, cause now she does more electropop / dance, and ero-kakkoi song is so much fun and happy, you know? I really love the instrumental of Butterfly / Cutie Honey, and do something like this again would be great.

I'm kinda tired of all those electro beat and stuffs like that (with Kumi I can enjoy cause I love her, but sometimes... all the singers doing this... is too much).

It's nice. I think she understands a lot about certain things...I think the whole "doing too much" isn't really about actually doing too much, it's about getting the same effect a different way, and in a way she's more comfortable with.

Let's face it, with the look and body she has, she's gonna be sexy doing whatever, and I think everyone knows that now, so she doesn't have to be so blatant about it.


I never really minded her cutesy-ness though cause...I know she's a total dork that way, and I think the cute image is more true to her actual personality...meh I just love the koda.

But I honestly wouldn't mind another JUICY.

I personally like her electronic stuff more UNIVERSE onwards. On TRICK I was personally pretty horrified of those because they didn't feel so much like Kuu (TABOO was probably the only one but the rest made me think who am I listening to anyway) and that's probably the main reason why I didn't really get that into TRICK when it was released. :/ But UNIVERSE onwards I feel like the Kuu vibe is there and stays.

And when we talk about TRICK anyway, I translated the whole album to finnish a while ago and I was surprised how dark and aggressive it was. It's probably the most aggressive Kuu album I've ever heard lol. :D I don't know but I get a feeling she was trying to get rid of her sadness and fail because of that stupid scandal back in 2008. I don't know but to me it feels like it. Oh well, I do like the album but not as much as the others though. :/

FYI, there is no restricted limit for cuteness in Japanese society. You can easily find 40-50 years old moms who look like and act as if they were 20 years old. If you're lucky, you can see 70-80 years old grandmas who color their hair red/purple/blue.
So I don't blame Kuu for her cute attitude, which I think is still in the "normal" category for Japanese.

As much as I love Ero-kakkoi style, I love how she can balance her attitude between being sexy, mature, and cute. Plus, cheesy-smile kuu is the best thing ever!

I FINALLY finished watching Dream Music Park tonight... and as much as I love it, after the first part, its basically a re-hash of Universe, right? I couldn't tell any difference in the line up.

I agree, it's a more mature ero-kakkoii. And that's why I think it would be too much if she's doing it constantly or overly trashy. She still has the trashy vibe going on with it here and there, but she has grown with it. Her dance routines and sexy actings are still rather explicit, she's living her sexual side out, but more matue than before.

Yeah, that cute and dork acting IS totally her. She has a certain type of humour and she's showing that in her interlude movies in her tours the last 2 years. Bad for overseas fans, great for Japanese, lol.
I do think that she would be a comedian if she hadn't sung! :laugh
But that's the reason I do like Kuu's cute side, it's more her personality.

Have I ever told you how much I worship Pearl Moon? *_____* Seriously she should sing it again live someday. First Class Live is so wonderful. <3 I really love Kuu's ballads. They're one of the best thing about her discography to me. Yes, Kuu ballads are my soft spot. Probably because two of the first Kuu songs are ballads that made me cry (1000 no Kotoba, Kiseki and Promise). Her voice is great for ballads. I wonder when Bounce & Lovers II will come out. Wouldn't be too surprised about it since she herself loves to sing ballads so much. :)

Btw, does anyone know where I could find a mp3 rip of secret -first class live-? I really want that, because it's the only one I'm missing now. :3
